Um...That's a descriptive term. Fat-Cat Millionaire is not a "name". If I were to call him a name I would say something like "Micheal Moore is a Big Fat Idiot" or something like that.

Hmmm, here is your post in its entirety. I count "fat-cat Millionaire" 3 times. Then there is "hypocrit":

Give me a break! He's become a fat-cat millionaire by claiming to be against capitilism...Remember "Roger and Me"? He's a fat-cat millionaire who became a fat-cat millionaire through capitilism. Another hypocrit laughing all the way to the bank.

Which term do you oppose, "hypocrite" or "fat-cat millionaire"? Do you deny that he *became* a fat-cat millionaire by pretending to be against capitalism?

MM is against irresponsible corporate greed. I don't recall him being against capitalism. Big difference.

Who cares that he made money on his work. This is America and we have two presidential candidates who are also "fat cats." I could care less. He is certainly NOT a hypocrit so that is also a lie. He has stated exactly what he thinks and states it in his movie. He is clear as a bell and says what he thinks. And admiral American. There are those who cannot stand to hear the truth. He tells it as he sees it and has every right to do so.

But his greed is OK, isn't it? LOL! Rent Roger and Me, see how he feels about capitalism. It is funnny, too.

He is also quoted often as saying that Americans are the stupidest people in the world. He's happy that those stupid people have made him a millionaire...

Greed is not illegal last time I looked. Check what is going on with Cheney right now for starters. He sends men off to die for his greed. Moore just tells it how he sees it and makes money doing it. Wonderful!

Being a hypocrite isn't illegal, either, lol.

It's been a very long while since I saw Roger and Me....and from what I recall it IS funny. However, if memory serves me, his point was that he was against irresponsible actions by large corporations who profit off the backs of the "little people". At the time he was angry of how his town Flint, was plunged into abject poverty as a result....He was NOT against making money per se. Back then, he was a nobody and he took a stand against an injustice that affected him, his family and friends and hometown personally. How creative (and American) can you get? Kudos to someone who can take a stand on an issue like that instead of giving up or giving in.

Do you think Michael Moore (or any other film maker for that matter) is responsible for how the system of profit sharing is set up in the film industry? He made a film, it did very well in the theatres, and the good ol' American Way ensured that he'd make a whole lotta money from it. Also, the good ol' American Way with its cult of personality and craving for instant celebrities made him famous. What is the issue?
