No kidding! Michael moore had to stand up for what he believed in, as the right may or may not notice, he does not get the red carpet rolled out when he tries to do an interview. He is a very unpopular man among the people he involves in his films. He happens to have made enough money to make bigger and better movies that are funded enough to be something that might disclose some facts to those who would have avoided the traditional "boring documentary"

beautifully argued metrochick. thank you for that, it is true about michael moore, those that say he had ruined documentaries... I would like them to tell me the documentaries they like or even know of.

But that's what the regular news media does all the time. They ask a question, you talk for 5 minutes, they show a 45 second clip of part of what you said. Or you write a letter to the editor & they print only part of it. Nothing new or different about that. Why should MM be obligated to include evey word a prson says when no one else is?

< MM néver "does an interview" he jumps all over those he wishes to interview, and then he proceeds to edit their contribution to his own liking, calling it art? >

I agree. Bush should have stud up when the teacher paused or something and apologized but said he had business to attend to without saying what as to not scare the kids. But nope. He didn't do that. He could have easily rescheduled the visit since it was in Florida and his brother is the gov. XOXO.

Also, find a theatre near you or find on the Sundance Channel the movie "Truth Uncovered." It is a real eye opener! You will want everyone to see it.

In Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" there was alot of additional material, so it seems likely that there will be extras.
