Thanks metrochick :)

I believe it's indeed (general) laziness that starts new "stories", that then need to be set straight time and again!

I've been watching Joe Scarborough lately and really like him. He's pretty center and seems to be pretty fair when talking about issues with having fair numbers on the show. XOXO.

One thing I liked with 9/11 is when the airplanes hit the building's they didn't show it. I thought that was very respectful and appropriate. XOXO.

He admitted on his show that he voted for Bush in the last election, and he comes from a family that is predominantly Republican. I think his Carter/O'Neil days are long behind him. I like a mix of different political POV, I can learn something from listening from people as wide apart as Limbaugh and Franken. What bothers me about him is it's like he wants it both ways and sometimes he sounds more than a little disingenuous. I keep getting the feeling he is reacting to pressure from higher up in NBC/GE.

If you're a conservative fine, if you're a liberal fine, I'm just tired of the charade.

He has a way now of getting more balance in the show that I find appealing (he wasn't that way too much early on). Also he is one of the only ones that talks about a classic conservative issue, that has been pretty much ignored, the budget deficit.

I thought they showed the second plane hit. It has been a while since I saw the film.

If I am not mistaken, they didnt show the first plane because they were in the firehouse at the time, and went with the rescue team into the building.

The most intense footage was when they were in the first building which collapsed right behind them.....I would have been scared out of my wits.
