I'm talking about the president doing what he should have done. You may think he did fine, I don't. You may think it makes sense to criticise Kerry, I don't.

One thing we did know was that there was NO one on those planes that came from Iraq.

Your trust in SH is amazing me time and again.>

The twisted attack method again? Where did you get the idea that anyone Trusted SH - or does it just feel good to throw unfounded accusations around?

Understand the fact that SH's cruel rule and the fight against terror were 2 separate issues. GWB has chosen to put them all in one bucket - that way, anyone who dares critize his Mistaken attack on Iraq can be put down as approving of SH's evil rule - Wrong, and Sneaky Bush knows this but it plays well and that's all that counts with him and his robots.

He screwed up the war against terror - he sent our troops to fight in Iraq, not Afghanistan where the terrorists were Known to be. He diluted our military protection in this country and terrorists are still coming in - don't delude yourself. Bush is playing the shell game and his blind supporters are lapping it up. I hope they can sleep at night if this loose, brainless cannon is reelected. I lied, I hope they can't sleep.

Some people who refuse to see the movie (too scary I guess) continue to tell the rest of us, who saw it, what is in it. Guess they don't have the courage to go - it's easier to fantasize about what Bush was doing and thinking than to see actual footage of the event.

It's the same philosophy Bush uses when he talks about winning the war on terror - yet forgets to mention that he attacked the wrong country. The coffins of our dead soldiers are brought home under cover of darkness and he never discusses the cost of his "mistake".

Why look reality in the face and recognize the chaos and destruction Bush brought to our country when you can close your eyes and conjure up a fantasy of how Bush wants you to see things - we know, he's really a good Christian man doing wonderful things for us.

<<"And you twist my words.">>....I don't thínk so.

Maybe you forgot, so here are your words re Blix (post 190 - Bush is evil - thread): <<"This one is simple. He was telling the truth both times.">>....I then asked in response (post 196 of same thread):
<<"He was telling the truth both times.">> So saying IN office "I need 18 months to make sure" is the same as saying OUT of office "I knew there are no WMD" ????
You never responded to that post, so I'm still in the dark about that one, which I bring it up again.

<<"The twisted attack method again? Where did you get the idea that anyone Trusted SH ">>.....what in the world is twisted here, besides your idea of my MO? Before reading your rant, I didn't realize that "Your trust in SH is amazing me time and again" apparently can be interpreted differently than I intended. I meant "SH's actions", not his person. I edited that line in my post.

Bush told the people of America that he was going to attack Iraq because they possessed WMD and posed an immenent danger.

Please, list all the other reasons he invaded Iraq....

You said;

"makes you (not Bush) a liar"

My observation - you are going too far. This is an honest difference of opinion. You are not justified in calling another poster here a liar.

You said;

"The best way to learn something is to do your own homework. Read (w/o leaving out words, they are there for a reason!) from all kinds of sources, then sit back and think and formulate your ówn thoughts in the process. It might seem impossibly hard in the beginning, but once you have mastered that process, I'm pretty sure you won't have it any other way from then on."

My observation - you are going way too far. You are openly insulting. Again, there are differences of opinion on these issues, based on differing interpretations of events. You are out of line in being this rude.

Insults, rudeness, sarcasm, caustic wit, are all tools used to attempt to win an argument without actually presenting a valid defense. You do not advance the discussion by these tactics.
