From the looks of the market yesterday, Wall Street is nervous about Kerry naming an ambulance chaser to the ticket.

First, I didn't ask for an anidote, I asked for statistics. I refuse to accept one example and extroplate from there. It's like saying all American soldiers practice torture, based on recent news.

Second, as I recall that lawsuit, the company was represented by lawyers, too. Strange how the plaintiff's lawyers always seem to so much better than the defense lawyers, isn't it?

Third, didn't the FAA make a finding that the guidence system was not working correctly? And wasn't that prior to the suit?

I wonder, how did the Carnahan lawyers, who had to select the twelve jurors who served, manage to pack the petite jury with "idiots" from the same jury pool that the defense lawyers used for their jurors? And, in fact, did the federal judge even allow voir dire? I know that for a long time, the Federal Eastern District Courts did not allow voir dire.

I'm sure that if any employee lost their job, they can now find a job at McDonalds. After all, that's were most of the jobs created by the Bush administration have been. Unless, of course, they move to India. But I doubt employees were as big a group of idiots as to have done that.
