Does anyone else not find it odd how many coincidences come around Bush? First there is the deciding state happened to be his brothers state of Florida, then Halliburton, the many innuendos that Iraq was a threat ready to attack us, and now Enron. When will all the madness end????

"My Pet Goat",

"My Pet Goat",

Airplanes crash and terrorist gloat

Seven long minutes, my hearts in my throat,

Bush keeps reading "My Pet Goat".

"My Pet Goat",

"My Pet Goat",

Jobs all down and defiects bloat,

Soldiers die in Iraq 'cause no bulletproof coat,

Bush shouldha' kept reading, "My Pet Goat."

Oh it's absolutely hilarious- Made even better by the fact that it was posted on the board and praised by a bunch of Bush followers! Guess they just didn't take the time to actually read before raving about what a great site it is.

Erasing this message because the info was incorrect. I did not get a good look at the ad and it was not what I originally thought. Sorry about that..

Wow that is low...I live in a battle ground state so I'm sure we will be "lucky" enough to see that kind of trash often between now and Nov....Desperate times call for desperate, imoral and disgusting measures. Hold your head high "mom" and remember you are backing the more "moral" candidate. Alot can and I think will be made about Kerry taking the "high road". But I got to ask was it a Bush camp ad or from their "friends".

Oops! I was WRONG about the ad! Ijust saw it again and that was NOT a picture of Laci as I first believed. It was a teeny tiny picture of John Kerry! It was really tiny and to the left. The ad flashed on really fast just as I was returning from the gym. I did not see the beginning and then I saw the picture in a flash and thought it was her. ANYWAY, I will go back and fix the original message because I was wrong. So they are not as sleazy as I though. Perhaps it is time for me to go get some new glasses/contacts. LOL Sorry about that...

I really haven't paid much attention to the race since I'm not in that district (I live to the north of the district, in St. Charles which is highly Republican, sorry to say). I have seen that there is another Dem candidate named Smith, so it could have been him. Jeff Smith is very young but on first meeting I would have to say I like him. And, yes, from what I understand, Russ Carnahan is also running. I don't actually care who wins the Dem nomination, as long as the seat stays on the Dem side of the aisle.

Unfortunately, my district has Rep. Todd Akin. Interestingly enough, I know his top aide, Steve Taylor. In the early 80's Steve was a drug-induced, manic-depressive, tree-hugging (quite literally, he chained himself to a tree to save a forest) John-Lennon-wannabe/worshiper (sunglasses and all). He was quite the ultra-liberal activist until he decided that he wanted to demonstrate against gambling, which is where he ran into the cons and Mr. Akin. Politics does make for interesting bed-fellows, doesn't it?
