I'm thrilled with the Kerry/Edwards ticket. I belong to the ABB (Anybody But Bush camp). How can people seriously think about voting for Bush/Cheney? What are President Bush's accomplishments over his four year term. Here's he's record. The country went from surpluses to deficits. There are more people unemployed and without health insurance, since Bush took office. When Bush took office this country was at peace and well respected by our allies. Now, the country is at war. Can we please impeach The Shrub and his merry gang of liars?

How about this for a new bumper sticker? Who is really the enemy here? I am leaning towards the republicans as the real enemy of the U.S.

Lawmaker Decries Kerry-bin Laden Stickers

Kentucky Rep. Anne Northup said she found out about the stickers over the weekend and doesn't want any more distributed. "What campaigns need to center on, debates need to center on and the party needs to focus on are ideas," she said.

Jefferson County GOP chairman Jack Richardson IV said the stickers were so popular that GOP headquarters ran out Friday. He won't distribute more, but is trying to locate their source for those who want them. "I believe in the question this bumper sticker raises," Richardson said.

Bill Garmer, chairman of the Kentucky Democratic Party, said the sticker equates a decorated Vietnam veteran with Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) — "one of the greatest enemies of the United States."

"It goes way over the line," he said.

A spokesman for the Kerry campaign previously called on GOP lawmakers to condemn the sticker, saying it was a "hateful and mean-spirited smear campaign

They know they can't win on merit alone, so they're resorting to these slime tactics! This is despicable!

So it begins!!!!!!

"We, Democrats will bring the American people a positive campaign, arguing not who's good and who's bad, but what is the best way to build the safe, prosperous world our children deserve," said the former president in remarks prepared for delivery.

You know my 2 favorite parts: the violinist playing Amazing Grace and listening to President Clinton. It has been a while since I heard him speak like this, and it was well worth the wait!

hahahaha I got your email and I thought it was from you, but you have now confirmed it! Thanks!! I hope you have fun tonite, and let us know what happens.

When I get around too many people like that I get really sick, especially if everyone is touching me!! Always have been like that, and I do not like that huge of crowds. I do not mind it being crowded as long as people do not touch me, kind of like ocd!! Before Christmas shopping was horrible for me, so I always went months in advance. I typically do not even go into walmart after thanksgiving, becuase they have everything so packed and so high up, I feel as though it is all coming down on me. Really I stop breathing!!

Watching the convention on tv is enough for me!

"I don't want to claim that God is on our side. As Abraham Lincoln told us, I want to pray humbly that we are on God's side."

That sums up my feeling about the Almighty.

But, you know, there was another man of Independence, who ran a campaign that people thought was doomed. And as a native son who has studied his speeches and thoughts, I don't think he'd mind if the next President borrowed what became the campaign slogan for this other man of Independence. So I would like to suggest that perhaps the "unofficial" battle cry of this campaign should reach into the past, for the campaign slogan of one of our greatest presidents.

"Give 'em Hell, Kerry!"
