Didja catch Bush's come back when he a dopey reporter asked him how Chaney stacked up against Edwards with his good, looks, charm, and personability?

'Dick Chaney can be president. Next?'

Ya know what's weird...from the get go I felt a connection to Bush...I feel he gives off such a real yet warm side which I only have heard other Republicans say. Does anyone else agree? THis is random I know ;)

I ditto that. I don't blindly follow President Bush as some liberals accuse us of. I really think that he is doing whats best for our country. I don't agree with everything he does, but I still think he is a courageous, steady leader and I admire what he has done to protect our country.

I will do everything in my power to help him get re-elected. I have offered to volunteer to link envelopes, go door to door, or stand on my head for 5 hours if thats what it takes.

VOTE FOR BUSH '04

Me three...or four :)

I guess maybe that is why I get a little defensive when the Bush Haters attack such trivial and ridiculous things such as his speaking ability...it makes him human and for those who don't speak perfectly either we can relate. I think it is important to have a President you can relate to and I find that in George. I am calling him by his first name like he is my uncle or something. Uncle George! Sounds good ;)

I haven't been able to find a video, but I'm still looking.

Here's a snarky little bit about it form the WSJ's Best of the Web:

Is love blossoming in Reuterville? Steve Holland, a "reporter" for the "news" service, told President Bush yesterday that John Edwards is "charming, engaging, a nimble campaigner, a populist and even sexy." Then he asked, "How does he stack up against Dick Cheney?"

The president's response: "Dick Cheney can be president."

Maureen Dowd thinks this was the wrong answer. In her view, Bush "should have given a sly smile and drawled, 'You mean you don't find Vice sexy?'

Since I am a lurker...I couldn't resist checking out the Dems thread. They are accusing the Republicans of being "nervous"...are you nervous? I sure am not...I couldn't be more confident...overly confident as defined from some Dems is and could be dangerous especially when it sets you up for a massive disappointment. Anyone agree? I support the President and I am extremely proud to do so and I believe in November will be a devestating month for a lot of Dems. ;)
