Kinda funny, they started off the thread mocking the GOP thread's "secret club"-seems they've warmed up to the idea a bit!

And I don't know where to go! I'm neither a "dem" or a "repuke". But nah I won't start a "greenhouse for foreigners"....LOL

Fits right in with an interview I heard today with Ron Silver. He said that in NYC,

They are movies that are consistent with a conservative world view, as are your contributions. ; )

"They are movies that are consistent with a conservative world view, as are your contributions. ; )"

that's interesting, I hadn't really classified myself as a conservative, altho since I am not American I am also not a 'Dem'. could you perhaps clarify your perception of me as Conservative, as I'm sure your definition of the word is different from ours.

I do beleive I found a loophole.

I'm neither a Republican or a Democrat so I think I can post here.

Personally, I try to keep my posts honest but I had some questions and misgivings regarding Kerry's handling of his campaign and some of the critisisms against him and quite frankly, did not feel that I would be welcomed here. I dislike being excluded from things and felt safer and more comfortable starting off in the Dem thread rather than this one. I probably wouldn't have posted anything in here at all, but couldn't restrain myself after reading Renees comment ;o)

In the Dem thread I wanted insert a little objectivity when looking at Kerry's strengths and weaknesses. People have a tendency to overlook problems when theya re supporting a favourite candidate which isn't wise IMO. I also took the opportunity to question the use of the word "repukes" in the title of the thread as well which doesn't sit all that well with me. I also confess to taking the opportunity to use rather strong crtisisms of Bush as well (as my stance on the war is no secret). I plan on asking quite a pointed question about the war and Kerry in there in the near future as well, free from the distraction of attacks from the other side.

I posed some of my questions on the open threads but found them largely ignored. Also, like the campaign itself, things in the open debate threads deteriorate when people (on both sides of the equation) are forced to constantly defend themselves.
