Would you attend the RNC?

My mom is a delegate, and I have to admit that I'm a little nervous about her (and my father) attending the RNC at the end of August. I know that it hasn't curbed her enthusiasm, but I definitley would have to give it some serious thought if it were me. Just curious, would you go, even with all the terror threats? Or for my democrat counterparts, would you to the DNC (even though I think terrorists have more of a reason to attack Reps)?

I think Al Queda is grateful for Bush! He made half-hearted efforts to get Bin Ladem which allowed him to get away, while Bush focused his energy on Iraq, which only made millions more support Al Queda. Haven't you been watching the news? The world is more against the US than ever before! They are better able than ever to recruit terrorists! Terrorism is UP, a fact the administration tried to cover up through some 'counting error'.. Error my foot!

So the republican party is also *on the same side* as McVeigh? After all, he WAS a registered republican, and he wanted the republicans to win.

Twisted logic!

There's a vast difference between chracterizing en entire group (in this case democrats) versus making accusations against people based on at least *some evidence*. Kind of like the difference between saying that because some guy with red hair was seen with something that looks like a gun, and was near the bank that was just robbed, he might be guilty of having been the robber, versus saying that red-haired men are robbers.

Oh come on. Anyone who reads the news as much as you do knows that everyone knows that anonymous's name is out of the bag, and that the CIA made him publish secretly. Don't play games.

Clinton was very effective against terrorism (better than Bush) and I trust Kerry to defend us more than I trust Bush.

I would not bother if I were you. Unless I am mistaken, she is the one who made the incredibly racist statements about palestinians and others. People who generalize like that don't want to know what's really going on. They just want to hate.

Sorry, nothing the Republicans did or advocated, benefitted McVeigh in any way. He was tried and executed so quickly because of conservative support for the death penalty and conservative

And what EXACTLY are democracts advocating that would benefit Bin Laden? Health care policy?

By the way, McVeigh was an pro-active member of the NRA, for policies similar to what is NOW in the Patriot Act, to name a few, so I would say that YES, him and those STILL AROUND who have the same beliefs and are still actively planning terrorist acts GET WHAT THEY WANT when a republican government is in power. Please do your research!
