Would you attend the RNC?

My mom is a delegate, and I have to admit that I'm a little nervous about her (and my father) attending the RNC at the end of August. I know that it hasn't curbed her enthusiasm, but I definitley would have to give it some serious thought if it were me. Just curious, would you go, even with all the terror threats? Or for my democrat counterparts, would you to the DNC (even though I think terrorists have more of a reason to attack Reps)?

That's not because Iraq was more important. It was due to the differences in each country and our different missions in each one.

I didn't say 'more important', I said 'more effort'. Don't you think effort = troops + money???

Aghganistant was in my opinion 'more important', and most of all - RELEVANT. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. The terrorists were not from there, there's no evidence Iraq either funded them or helped them. This cannot be said however for Saudi Arabia, but that doesn't seem to matter to anyone, for some odd reason..

Nicecanadianlady I have been waiting for days for you to answer Whren's question. Can you defend this statement? Did you research it and find that the statement is incorrect? If so I think you should retract it.

I'd love to go the RNC to protest the Shrub and his merry gang of liars! I'm afraid the cops will be taking names and arresting people! Frankly I don't want to see the inside of a NYC jail.

I agree with you completely! Do you really think that god is on the Shrub's side in this stupid war! Nope! Please buy a clue! The Shrub hasn't made us any safer. Frankly, I feel less safe with the Shrub and his merry gang of liars in office.

I was gone for a long-weekend vacation. What question would that be? I tried to follow the thread, but can't seem to find what you are referring to. The Patriot Act being a step closer to fascism? Pretty obvious - just look up the definition of fascims, but if that's really what you are asking about, I'll spend some time to post some links. Or was it something else?
