Ha, neither am I, it was a joke...I posted the defintions so you can get a better understanding as to why a "debate" board gets heated and sometimes our emotions get the best of us.

Thanks, but I really didn't need you to do that. I'm quite intelligent, whether you believe it or not and I don't appreciate you trying to make me look stupid.

I can understand emotions getting the best of people. What I *can't* understand is why so many here are resorting to being immature, condescending and sarcastic to "get their point" across. (and I'm talking about both sides here) I also don't understand why nothing is really being done about it.

In short, I'm done with this place and won't be coming back. You "won"- congrats to you! :-)

Good luck to all of you.

Actually, that behaviour DOES NOT get their point across. It only makes the point that the poster in question is immature and condescending. But it makes some feel better about themselves, even though they are oblivious to how they sound...Oh well.. There are people like that on all sides.

That's too bad. I think we have all lost because of it.

I suppose for some it might be considered a "victory" when they cause someone to finally throw their hands in the air and give up because there seems to be no point in carrying on the argument any further.
