And Democrats on this board think they are outnumbered by the Republicans? At least judging by those who chose to vote, that is not the case.

I agree with you (believe it or not!) :)

I started this poll because the Dem side was complaining about the abundance of Con posts. My thought was that there were fewer cons, but they were speaking the loudest and most often.

Wasn't it Teddy Roosevelt that said, "Speak softly and carry a big stick"...?

Just goes to show that the squeaky wheel may get the oil, but the quiet wheel is more efficient (pardon the *bad* paraphrase).

Many, many times on this board people have complained this board has too may righties and not enough lefties. Just as most on the left consider the mainstream media center when it is really left, so do they read an evenly balanced number of political posts and interpret that as the board being right when it is not.

The results of this poll show me nothing more than what I already knew… That there are a lot more lefties here posting than righties, but the left still complains the board tilts to the right when it obviously does not, which IMO is illustrative of the complaints coming from the Democratic Party in general these days.

Or perhaps;

We all walk away with what we were looking for to begin with that support our own preconceived notions.
