If the election were held today, who would you vote for?

  • Bush/Cheney
  • Kerry/Edwards
  • Nader
  • Undecided

You will not be able to change your vote.

From my observation, (although I don't read here everyday), there are numerically more Democrats than Republicans on the board here, but the Republicans that do write here seem to spend most of their lives writing here because they post so often. Some of them literally seem to post a dozen posts a day or more!

With the number of times you and a few other Republicans post, you more than make up for the number of Democrats.

Some of the Republicans on this board seem to spend their life on it. They post more in a day than most of us do in a month!

Looks like the conservatives here didn't get out the vote. Why so many views and only 30 votes? Odd.

Liberals would be happy to see this trend go nationwide come November. :-)

Well, the Florida Division of Elections is helping by deciding to allow 2,500 convicted felons back onto the voter rolls under the guise of not disenfranchising voters.

LOL! When I fist came to IVillage, it was totally the other way around. There were only a few conservatives who posted occassionally, and a few liberals who practically all responded to each post I made.

Would those be the same 2500 people who have been granted clemency and who are, by law, no longer disenfranchised?

Yea, but IV is a liberal board altogether. As mentioned before, there may be a lot of posts from the conservative side, but usually there's only about 7 people that generate those posts. There's a few dozen that post from the left, but they do not post as often for the most part. I can only think of about 4 from the left that posts alot.

I know one person that is paralyzed and doesn’t have much money to do things. This is/was their primary form of relaxation that they could afford. People gravitate to these boards for all sorts of reasons. Their reasons for having time to post here vary just as much.

BTW, I’ve read some of your other posts and wanted to comment how insightful they were, but assumed I was on your ignore list. It is a bit delayed, but good posts.

I hadn't been on this board in a while, so I have to agree, it seems to have flipped back to the liberal side. It's almost welcoming now. But never fear, I'm sure it's just that the neo-cons are on vacation before they start Democratic Convention bashing.
