“Providing Access to Medicine for HIV Positive Americans. Just as he has shown leadership globally, the President is concerned about U.S. citizens who are suffering with HIV/AIDS.â€
I have a friend who has AIDS and so this means a lot in terms of something I wish my President to pursue closely.
The economy is strong and getting stronger. The President’s pro-growth policies have helped drive the economy and move the recovery forward, putting more money in the pockets of America’s families and laying a foundation for robust growth and job creation now and for years to come.
“GDP grew by more than 5 percent over the last three quarters, the fastest rate of growth in nearly two decades.â€
“Productivity grew at the fastest 3-year rate in more than 50 years.â€
This is even after 9/11, something that has never been seen on US soil. The stock Market crash after 9/11 had a huge economy affect, and the increase of jobs all over the US even after both never before seen horrifying events.
I have the best paying job I have ever had and opportunities that were never there before. My sister just bought her first house and the rates IR’s haven’t been this good I believe ever before. My brother-in-law’s job had the ability to advance his position and pay which further helped my sister’s family buy a home and live comfortably.
“Creating Jobs – The President acted decisively to help create jobs and get Americans back to work. Just one year after the President signed the Jobs & Growth bill, there is widespread evidence his policies have worked.â€
I also support his contribution toward a more literate society. The focus on children both him and Laura Bush are extremely dedicated to. I have two teachers in my family and they appreciate his stance on how important education is to them. The No Child Left Behind. NCLB creates strong standards in each state for what every child should know and learn in reading and math in grades 3-8 and holds schools accountable for closing the achievement gap between students of different socio-economic backgrounds.
I am also Pro-Life although I do believe in certain circumstances in which the mother’s health is at risk or the child. I believe you should be able to qualify for an abortion.
As for my support on his stride to fight the “war on terrorismâ€â€¦I think my posts speak volumes for what I believe in that regard and above all else listed above this is the main reason Bush will get my vote in November.
I support President Bush because he is a true leader. He has the confidence to stand alone, and the courage to make tough decisions. He is a leader by the quality and integrity of his actions. I will vote for him again because of his principles and values, integrity and character, and love and compassion for those who are hungry for food, freedom, and truth.
Please don't bash me for my opinion...I would like other's to state their reasoning for supporting Bush and voting for him. Thanks!!!

Yes, and we were hearing the same doomsday predictions then of how our great grandchildren would be paying off our debt. The fact is, when we have recessions we go into deficit spending, and when the economy recovers we come out of it. It's a basic fear tactic the tax and spenders have been using for years in order to put even more of our money into government coffers. Bottom is, higher taxes never result in smaller deficits-they result in slowed economic growth, job losses and a shrinking tax base which ends up causing bigger deficits.

Because he has the courage to do what needs to be done. He governs by what he believes is right and best for the country and not by the whims of the polls and the media.
Because he understands that the only way to end terrorism is to end the tyranny and desperation which breeds it.
Because he won't allow our foreign policy to be dictated by other nations who have only selfish interests at heart.
Because I believe that given the circumstances of the last four years he has done as well as any president could have done-inheriting a recession, the corporate scandals, 9/11, but the economy is recovering in a big way, Iraq is beginning to show signs of heading in the right direction, and a free and democratic nation in the Middle East will, IMO, eventully prove to be the impetus for real change in the region. I believe the real fruits of Bush's foreign policy will not truly be recognized for years to come, but I hope that he is able to at least hang on to the White House for one more term so that at least some of the progress will be attributed to him. I hope that Iran is the next to fall, hopefully his next action will be helping the Iranian people overthrow their oppressive, terrorist supporting regime.
Though as I have said before Bush is far from my ideal candidate for a lot of reasons, Kerry is my nightmare candidate. No moral center, shifting personas and views depending on the audience, preaching about allowing the UN, a corrupt and ineffective organization, to dictate our national security, aligning himself with the leftist hate-mongers in Hollywood, engaging in disingenuous class warfare to get his hands on more of our tax dollars, hypocritical stances on abortion and gay marriage, advocate of socialized medicine. He's like a far left wing Bill Clinton without the charisma. So even if I had no positive reasons for voting for Bush, I would probably be a member of the ABK party.
