Some people say there is no media bias. Rush was on the air with over 400 stations before I’d ever heard of him. Some pip-squeak talk show in something like 13 markets comes around and gets tones of publicity. Whatever Rush’s ratings were, I assume they would at least had doubled if he gotten that much free press.

AA has been losing share each month since their debut in THE MOST LIBERAL MARKET in the country IN THE MIDDLE OF A TIGHT PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN.

Have they paid their on-air 'talent' yet or are they still working for free?

I was thinking along similar lines. Oh, my! AA beating out O’Reilly in NY!? Is that news that a liberal show was able to beat out a conservative show in NY of all places? Try this show out somewhere other than the liberal Meccas of D.C., NY, San Fran., or San Diego and see how it does. That would be more telling.

Air America is in a variety of markets. Just because it's doing badly in NYC, doesn't mean that it's doing badly in the rest of the United States. I find Air America a breath of fresh air from the talking heads of AM radio (Rushie And Sean Hannity) and FAUX News!

I read that they had to obtain another $25 million "gift" to stay on the air, but most of their tallent has only been paid a portion of what they are due.

The station is bankrupt and will be off the air shortly as they cannot secure the advertising revenue that they so desparately need.

News flash.

It is doing badly in every market that it is in, and is not operating on a profit.

They are operating so far in the red, that without any further "gifts" from wealthy friends, the station will not last through the summer.

keeping the UN as far out of our politics as possible. To me, this is a very large plus.

Eh?

You mean the same man who turned to the UN as the last hope of bringing stability to Iraq after deeming them irrelevant? Or am I mistaken and THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION used diplomacy to make the so-called handover possible.

And the SAME UN THAT WAS RIGHT ABOUT IRAQ in March 2003.

Laughable.

Apparently, that went over your head.

Every national poll shows: The people feel the country is headed in the wrong direction.

Since you obviously DONT LISTEN to AA (Which makes your opinion of AA totally without merit), you don't know that that's their #1 issue, where this country is heading.

And yet Bush has a 51% job approval rating.

Pollsters will tell you that this the question about which direction the country is heading is misleading because it includes people to the left of Bush who are not happy with his policies and also people who don't think he's been tough enough fighting the WOT and conservatives who are unhappy with his domestic spending but who will nevertheless support him overr Kerry.

Every national poll also shows that Americans think Bush would make

The UN was not right about anything.

The only thing the UN is good at is being a corrupt organization. Heck, even their employees say that the entire set up is based on corruption and it runs rampant throughout the UN.

The Oil for Food scandal is only the tip of the iceberg.
