The Successes of President George Bush

Dear Reader,

I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans

saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a

failure. With the string of successes he's had,

nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a

few:

1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling

budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion

deficit.

2. He has successfully helped America's trading

partners have the highest trade surplus with us in

America's history.

3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the

richest Americans and corporations at the expense of

99% of the American population.

4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in

Iraq after lying to the whole world.

5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to

the highest level ever here in America.

6. He has successfully allowed American corporations

to dramatically increase their pollution.

7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the

population out of work.

8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export

our best middle-class jobs.

9. He has successfully divided our country as never

before.

10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.

11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never

before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a

divider).

12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the

constitution of the United States of America.

13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as

they haven't been for years (I told you he was a

uniter).

14. He has successfully driven me out of the

Republican party for the rest of my life.

You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a

wonder America is still standing.

You are very misinformed about Kerry being late! he is never late and is alway very kind and actually listens to you and your ideas! Boy you rep will even stoop so low as to talk about someone being on time as if someone votes for someone on the tardniss!Thisboard is so far right it makes me sick! I will never read this crap again and women that vote for Bush you should be the fist ones in line to have your rights taken away. OOps I forgot you love to be submissive to men cause thats what you want in a first lady one that sits back and keeps her mouth shut! thank god for the Hilarys and Teresas or you rep would have us in total oppression!

If Frist,Cheney,Rumsfeld,Lott,Limbaugh and others are representative of the Republican party then I certainly don't want to understand or even know more about Republicans. There is no way I could be involved with a party where obvious racists and homophobes are looked up to as leaders.

This is not what you would call the representative of the Republican party. Colin Powell, Condalezza Rice, and many other minorities represent the Republican party. Have you paid attention to what Don King was saying? He says that the Democrats and Kerry have not promised minorities a thing, this is true. They say at least Bush has promised to do something about diversity.

I am Hispanic and very Republican. To say that Republicans are racists and homophobes shows how out of touch you are and it will soon turn around and slap you. Kerry's group has an all white look to it can you tell me why?

Just wondering: does anybody know what Laura has done since Bush has been in office? I know she's for education and stuff like that but just wondering if anybody knows. I remember she came here to speak at this place here that's held for meetings and whatnot but it was so much money to go and hear her speak cause you got a meal (it was like around $100 I think for a ticket). It would have been interesting to see what she had to say but I wasn't about to spend $100 when that can be used for something else I need. But I was wondering if anybody knew any accomplishments of her. I know Hillary is involved with the senators and is helping campaigning Kerry. XOXO.

If you mean in Kerry's camp who's helping him campaign then yeah, I haven't seen any colored people, but if you mean supporting Kerry then that's wrong. If you go to his website and look at pictures of him on the road you can see him talking to people and that includes colored people. In one video he also has him talking to a little girl who's colored who won a pagent in her area and she wanted to meet Kerry. He and she posed for pictures and then he talked with her a good bit. Asked her how she won her title (dancing but she has done singing) and he asked her how school was going etc. I think Kerry is doing well at connecting with people of all ages and races. I haven't seen Bush make any connections with people my age (I'm 22) but I have seen Kerry. XOXO.

Being the party of less intrusion into peoples live

This one surely does not belong in the conservative camp. The Reps are the MOST intrusive into our lives, wanting to tell us who we can marry, love, sleep with, how to pray and where (Christian prayers said in schools for example) and that if we are

I have never really chosen sides as far as politics go. I don't believe either party is good or bad. But why bash - if you do have different opinion - well, so does everyone else. That's why we get to vote.

I guess I am somewhat of a southern conservative - I don't believe people should have abortions, except in extreme cases. I don't think gays should have legal married rights. Everyone is talking about the demise of the American family - well, there you go. I am not a religious fanatic - I have tolerance. Everyone should be accountable for their actions. Everyone has their right to worship.

But I am not going to bash you because of the way you think. You didn't grow up the way I did, you don't have the job I have, you don't live where I do - and we have different values, of course.

By the way, I live in Rural America - a poor part of the South.
