Bush's Successes

Dear Reader,
I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans
saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a
failure. With the string of successes he's had,
nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a
few:
1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling
budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion
deficit.
2. He has successfully helped America's trading
partners have the highest trade surplus with us in
America's history.
3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the
richest Americans and corporations at the expense of
99% of the American population.
4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in
Iraq after lying to the whole world.
5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to
the highest level ever here in America.
6. He has successfully allowed American corporations
to dramatically increase their pollution.
7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the
population out of work.
8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export
our best middle-class jobs.
9. He has successfully divided our country as never
before.
10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.
11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never
before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a
divider).
12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the
constitution of the United States of America.
13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as
they haven't been for years (I told you he was a
uniter).
14. He has successfully driven me out of the
Republican party for the rest of my life.
You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a
wonder America is still standing.

Maybe they are all idiots, but they need to be rotated.
As for hate, it seems to be at unprecented heights on both sides this campaign. Too bad Bush didn't deliver on his inauguration claim "I'm a uniter, not a divider" I actually was encouraged to hear him say that, & hoped it was true, hoped he wasn't as bad as I thought. But no, it was just rhetoric, no uniting, except he has united anyone & everyone 2 degrees left of center.
"intolerant, biased, disillusioned, close-minded, flip flopping, ill informed bunch of liberals who have hate in their hearts"
or
"intolerant, biased, disillusioned, close-minded, flip flopping, ill informed bunch of conservatives who have hate in their hearts"
As for the above quote, all you have to do is insert conservatives for liberals & it works just as well the other way around. But it really doesn't work well either way, because it is a list of generalizations & insults, & adds nothing substantive or constructive to debate.
"what is funny too is all of the people are not really "pro-Kerry" they are just "anti-Bush" geeezzzz what a way to choose how one will vote :( "
Whatever works :)
It never meant you can live your life any way you want as long as nothing gets changed.
< It depends on your perspective. Many view live and let live as the status quo. When you start talking about changing the most basic societal institutions in a fundamental way, all of us are affected.>
But, IMHO, he currently has a better grasp of the world economy in which we live
So that is why the economy was so strong during the Clinton administration and is in the dumps now after 4 years of the Bushies? That's why we have the hugest deficit in the history of the country? That's why we have a huge hole we are pouring money into called Iraq? I see the grasp perfectly.
