The Successes of President George Bush

Dear Reader,

I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans

saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a

failure. With the string of successes he's had,

nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a

few:

1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling

budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion

deficit.

2. He has successfully helped America's trading

partners have the highest trade surplus with us in

America's history.

3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the

richest Americans and corporations at the expense of

99% of the American population.

4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in

Iraq after lying to the whole world.

5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to

the highest level ever here in America.

6. He has successfully allowed American corporations

to dramatically increase their pollution.

7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the

population out of work.

8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export

our best middle-class jobs.

9. He has successfully divided our country as never

before.

10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.

11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never

before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a

divider).

12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the

constitution of the United States of America.

13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as

they haven't been for years (I told you he was a

uniter).

14. He has successfully driven me out of the

Republican party for the rest of my life.

You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a

wonder America is still standing.

Yes, and he helped the Democrats pass a law against us financially helping the Contras fight Communism by standing on the Senate floor and LYING about spending Christmas in Cambodia. Whatever it takes to promote Communism, huh?

You know what it tells me? With John Forbes Kerry back in the public eye, all the wierdos who supported him in the 60's are front and center again today. A president John Forbes Kerry would bring the same social unrest that we had back then. It was a bad time in our history. One that most do not want to repeat.

Correction; largest protest against any president since the inception of our country, and largest protest against any leader anywhere in the world. At no other time in the history of the entire planet has there been so many people willing to take time out from their personal lives on one day to protest publicy against one person.

< After what happened at the World Trade Center tragedy to the largest protest demonstration against the policies of a President since the Viet Nam War. What does that tell you? >

Welcome jarvisrose!

From the numbers I've seen, rural & suburban areas are mostly Republican while urban areas typically go Democrat.

I don't think there's a question about how the military will be voting. Bush leads overwhelmingly in polls of the military and veterans.

I was encouraged yesterday when I was out with a group of teacher friends, and they were all making fun of Kerry. I don't talk politics with them, and they are more liberal than the general population around here, so I thought some of them might be Kerry supporters.

Whow!

What a powerful man you think GWB is! Single handed he has totally destroyed the economy of the world and upset wonderful people such as yourself.

Rather than correct what are the most uneducated comments that I have read on the subject. I ask that you do only one thing - CHECK THE FACTS - LOOK IT UP - DON'T TELL ME/US WHAT YOU THINK - TELL US THAT YOU KNOW - Of all the taxes collected in 2002 - this is the most recent year that has the numbers posted - what percent was paid by - americans based on income? You go research this and you will realize that you are so wrong on this - you might actually research the other incorrect assumptions you listed. Bottom line is - I don't care what you think (neither should anyone else) - I only care about the TRUTH. Can you deal with the truth? - LOOK IT UP!
