The Successes of President George Bush

Dear Reader,

I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans

saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a

failure. With the string of successes he's had,

nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a

few:

1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling

budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion

deficit.

2. He has successfully helped America's trading

partners have the highest trade surplus with us in

America's history.

3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the

richest Americans and corporations at the expense of

99% of the American population.

4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in

Iraq after lying to the whole world.

5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to

the highest level ever here in America.

6. He has successfully allowed American corporations

to dramatically increase their pollution.

7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the

population out of work.

8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export

our best middle-class jobs.

9. He has successfully divided our country as never

before.

10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.

11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never

before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a

divider).

12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the

constitution of the United States of America.

13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as

they haven't been for years (I told you he was a

uniter).

14. He has successfully driven me out of the

Republican party for the rest of my life.

You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a

wonder America is still standing.

You left off the part about the Enron connection !

President's Connection with Enron

This is an interesting bit of information that you don't hear much about in the media ---

This can and has been verified - not someone "like yous" opinion based on hear say and misguided filtered information. Pay attention and find out the truth for yourself - don't take my word for any of this - it is factual - just not reported by ABC, CBS, or NBC - If you want sources - ask and ye shall receive. But - only ask if you are indeed interested in verification of truth. You sound like an intelligent although mis-informed person. Wake up and smell the Coffee -

a.. Enron's chairman did meet with the president and the vice president in the Oval Office.

b.. Enron gave $420,000 to the president's party over three years.

c.. It donated $100,000 to the president's inauguration festivities.

d.. The Enron chairman stayed at the White House 11 times.

e.. The corporation had access to the administration at its highest levels and even enlisted the Commerce and State Departments to grease deals for it.

f.. The taxpayer-supported Export-Import Bank subsidized Enron for more than $600 million in just one transaction. Scandalous!!

g.. BUT...the president under whom all this happened WASN'T George W.

Bush.

SURPRISE ......... It was Bill Clinton!

Well, I posted the whole story about Iran/Contra, how Kerry started the investigation, & kept after it knowing something was rotten, got very little support from either party except Jessie Helms. Finally the whole thing came out. Semms to me this indicates a superior ability to analyze, dedication in the face of numerous obstacles over a long period of time, and a willingness to form partnerships to get the job done.

Yet even though you said you'd like to know about it, no comment from you?

< If Kerry played much of a role in IC, I'd certainly like to know. Can anyone shed light on this?

So please enlighten us, what are you republicans all about? From what I have seen you have no regard for the environment, middle and lower income citizens, healthcare, the exportation of our jobs to India etc.... I could go on but really I don't have THAT much time.

Thank you for saying it so well! How could anyone criticize him with all these achievements to his credit!

I agree with you wholeheartedly. You don't have to be rich to be a Republican you just have to have good sound judgement and morals. By the way, isn't Kerry married to a billionaire?
