The Successes of President George Bush

Dear Reader,

I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans

saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a

failure. With the string of successes he's had,

nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a

few:

1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling

budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion

deficit.

2. He has successfully helped America's trading

partners have the highest trade surplus with us in

America's history.

3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the

richest Americans and corporations at the expense of

99% of the American population.

4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in

Iraq after lying to the whole world.

5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to

the highest level ever here in America.

6. He has successfully allowed American corporations

to dramatically increase their pollution.

7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the

population out of work.

8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export

our best middle-class jobs.

9. He has successfully divided our country as never

before.

10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.

11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never

before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a

divider).

12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the

constitution of the United States of America.

13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as

they haven't been for years (I told you he was a

uniter).

14. He has successfully driven me out of the

Republican party for the rest of my life.

You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a

wonder America is still standing.

The Heinz plants were built by the now deceased Senator Heinz, who was a republican. Teresa Heinz Kerry owns only 2% of the stock in Heinz, & she does not control the operations of the company. Kerry has nothing to do with the company. Senator Heinz built plants all over the world because he used local products to make local versions of their products. You are using the business practices of a deceased republican to attack the reputation of Kerry.

Please be better informed when you post information.

< Please take the time to see where the Heiz plants are now located.>

You are absolutely correct! You are very, very articulate! I must add that President Bush confuses me in that he wants government to be reduced in our lives, yet he wants the government to be involved in reproductive rights decisions, and in who gets married. I feel very uncomfortable having President Bush in my uterus!

You need to do some research and get your facts straight!!! I can't begin to understand how people like and trust Kerry. He's flipped flopped so much on EVERYTHING!!! that he doesn't know which end is up or down. It's even funny to me that he can qualify!! The ONLY failure is of the democrat party being so negative about America. Go figure.

"One of the many reasons I am voting for Bush is because I know what I have with him. With Kerry, considering his voting record which tends to go against military support, I am afraid of what he would do to the military if he were to become elected. Plus, considering all of his anti-war activities once he got home from Vietnam (and while he was still in the Naval Reserves-Inactive Duty up until 1972, so he should have/could have been punished for it all, especially being present in Kansas City when the talks of killing Senators was discussed... hmmm .. I guess it is good to be friends with the Kennedys, perhaps?), he is not respectable enough to be CIC of our military. Knowing all of that, I do not see how ANY military member can vote for Kerry. It just does not sit well with us. If he does win, I will of course hope for the best, but I am not holding my breath. This board will be one of the first to know if I am inhappy with his Presidency."

I find that very odd, since Kerry actually was a part of the military, fought in Vietnam, and did his duty. Everyone, including John Kerry, has the right to protest and say what they think, thanks to the First Amendment.

George Bush was in the National Guard, but basicall shirked all of his duties, refused to get a mandatory physical, and was in questionable locations.

Also, I find it interesting that no one ever brings up the fact GW Bush spend about 20 years or so drinking and doing drugs all the time.

If I may add, before politics he had 2 business that went bankrupt. Also he joined the Air National Guard reserves and couldn't complete complete his tour of duty.

Now he says John Kerry with 6 years of duty, in combat and honored with the Purple Heart and other medals. Today I heard where our dear Vice President said noone can run this country but President Bush and keep us safe from terrorist. Sounds like a typical scare tactic.

Thank You!!! I have finally come across a message that I agree with. There are so many people out there who do not have a clue. John Kerry IS scary!!! Our President is a great leader who is not afraid and he knows what has to be done to protect our country!! I have done ALOT of research on this and I can tell you our President IS the best man for the job!!
