Dear Reader,
I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans
saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a
failure. With the string of successes he's had,
nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a
few:
1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling
budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion
deficit.
2. He has successfully helped America's trading
partners have the highest trade surplus with us in
America's history.
3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the
richest Americans and corporations at the expense of
99% of the American population.
4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in
Iraq after lying to the whole world.
5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to
the highest level ever here in America.
6. He has successfully allowed American corporations
to dramatically increase their pollution.
7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the
population out of work.
8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export
our best middle-class jobs.
9. He has successfully divided our country as never
before.
10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.
11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never
before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a
divider).
12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the
constitution of the United States of America.
13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as
they haven't been for years (I told you he was a
uniter).
14. He has successfully driven me out of the
Republican party for the rest of my life.
You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a
wonder America is still standing.

My husband is active duty military and so are ALL of his friends, and he is quite aware what goes on around him and has nothing to be dishonest about.

And I almost forgot:
Thank you to your husband for serving his country, and thank you for supporting him!

We went to war because we had to, and it is better for the whole world that Iraq's evil dictator was taken out of power. It was his desire to control the world, and now he never will.
As for jobs leaving the country, for every job exported, an even higher percentage of jobs came in, according several news talk radio hosts I've heard. And looking at the economy, it has improved in most places in the country. And further, Bush gave tax cuts to all American tax payers, not just the wealthy. And those who want the job market to get better for the middle class had better hope that business owners have more disposable income, becuase that is how they create more jobs. As you might now be able to see, Bush has had some real successes, and I would hate to see Kerry elected to undo it all.
Fair enough, but I have to ask: what about the millions of Americans who do not believe in God? Yes, they are out there, and I know it makes ME nervous when a leader of a major power like America claims to be "guided by God." Isn't that what the terrorists say too? I like my religion and my government SEPARATE! And don't you feel that Bush's actions belie his claim that he lives by Christian principles? (For instance, isn't it a tenet of Christianity to take care of those less fortunate? Isn't cutting social programs doing the opposite?) Sorry to bombard you with questions, I've been dying to ask someone these.......
I believe that most every woman has a choice, with all choices come consequences. Not nice to think of a child that way but it is how it is. When you make the choice to do something you know there are always consequences, good things can happen and so can bad things. If women want to preach choice then they should understand that if they don't like the consequences of having sex then they should abstain. Especially when you think if you get AIDS you can't just abort it.
