The Successes of President George Bush

Dear Reader,

I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans

saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a

failure. With the string of successes he's had,

nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a

few:

1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling

budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion

deficit.

2. He has successfully helped America's trading

partners have the highest trade surplus with us in

America's history.

3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the

richest Americans and corporations at the expense of

99% of the American population.

4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in

Iraq after lying to the whole world.

5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to

the highest level ever here in America.

6. He has successfully allowed American corporations

to dramatically increase their pollution.

7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the

population out of work.

8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export

our best middle-class jobs.

9. He has successfully divided our country as never

before.

10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.

11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never

before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a

divider).

12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the

constitution of the United States of America.

13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as

they haven't been for years (I told you he was a

uniter).

14. He has successfully driven me out of the

Republican party for the rest of my life.

You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a

wonder America is still standing.

No I was just talking about at the end when you were talking about $600 checks, just saying that people wouldn't be getting that much if minimum wage wasn't raised.

Hasn't anyone heard of adoption? And even if they got preg thinking the father would stick around I think that all women should understand when you make a choice there are consequences. If you made the choice to drive your car drunk a consequence might be getting in a car crash. Why do we live in such a society where people can't stand up and accept the consequences of their choices. If you kill a man a consequence might be jail. I do know a woman who is a chronic abortion getter, she has had 10 abortions because she can't bother to stop having sex or use precautions. Why can't these women just not play games and ask the father if he wants children, I know many women who just assume things and this is why the divorce rate is what it is. I think the only justification for abortion is rape or a life or death situation (as long as the woman was unaware of the possibility it could cost her life to have a baby). Also I do condemn the fathers NO ONE should have sex without being able to accept getting pregnant, after all the whole point of sex is procreation is it not?

I feel it's a terrible shame. They should have discussed before they had sex how they would handle a pregnancy & agreed on it. But notice how my response doesn't put all the blame on the woman, and I don't insult the woman's morals in this scenario. I do know a man who didn't want his exfiance to get an abortion. She broke off the engagement & got the abortion because he turned out to be abusive & mentally ill. He talked to me about it & wanted to know if his opinion should count. I told him it did, she should consider his wishes, but she is the person pregnant & she gets to decide. Still in my experience, there are more times when a man runs away than pleads for the baby.

I think it is very sad that women are so judgmental of other women. Instead of judging one another, we should be standing together. We don't know the other person's situation. Why they choose abortion or not. Did birth control fail, was it rape/incest, a relationship gone bad, etc. I think maybe we should be asking why men are not more responsible for birth control. There are so many forms of birth control for women yet the only form available for men are condoms. Yet, we see the availability of many drugs for men with sexual dysfunction. Why haven't they developed more forms of birth control for men? We've come such a long way but we are still willing to take the blame for something that requires two people to accomplish. Personally, I'm tired of men getting a free ride. Instead of asking, why didn't "she" use birth control, let's ask why didn't "he" use birth control.

As for the post stating that sex is only for procreation - the next time your husband wants to have sex ask him if it is to make a baby. If he says no, then you tell him you can't have sex with him because it's for procreation only. Then see how long your marriage will last.
