The Successes of President George Bush

Dear Reader,

I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans

saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a

failure. With the string of successes he's had,

nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a

few:

1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling

budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion

deficit.

2. He has successfully helped America's trading

partners have the highest trade surplus with us in

America's history.

3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the

richest Americans and corporations at the expense of

99% of the American population.

4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in

Iraq after lying to the whole world.

5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to

the highest level ever here in America.

6. He has successfully allowed American corporations

to dramatically increase their pollution.

7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the

population out of work.

8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export

our best middle-class jobs.

9. He has successfully divided our country as never

before.

10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.

11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never

before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a

divider).

12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the

constitution of the United States of America.

13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as

they haven't been for years (I told you he was a

uniter).

14. He has successfully driven me out of the

Republican party for the rest of my life.

You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a

wonder America is still standing.

unfortunately, though, men wouldn't feel so worried if they forgot to take their birth control one day. Even though a man is half responsible for a pregnancy and a baby, it's much easier for them to not be involved if something did happen. Does that make sense? I think that some men could easily think, 'oh well, nothing is going to happen to ME."

Excellent points. They really need to come out with a safe male birth control instead of coming out with all kinds of different forms of Viagra (if you catch my drift). HA! It would be nice if men had to bare more of the contraceptional (if that is even a word) burden. That would surely reduce the amount of abortions and unwanted pregnancies in the world. I hope to see something like this very soon (I've got a six year old girl, and it would be nice to know that her boyfriends ten years from now will be on some form of contraceptive other than condoms, spermacide, etc, along with her :) ).

Well we are trying to make a baby and it isn't going well for us, maybe you can kinda see how after three years of trying it gets a little frustrating to see so many women throwing their babies away.

I feel very sorry for your situation. I have some dear friends who have known me since I was a baby. They were never able to have children. They were told had either of them been married to someone else they might have had children. So I have a bit of an understanding for your situation. They are a wonderful couple and would have made great parents but it never happened.

I wish you all the best and that you will be blessed with a child.

However, I don't see it as throwing away children. Even this couple who could not have children agree. What saddens and angers me even more are the children who are born to neglectful and abusive parents. Do you realize how many abused children are out there? A good friends parents were foster parents for 25 years and I could tell you some horror stories. I agree that abortion is not the greatest thing and wish it were not needed but sometimes situations arise where there is no other recourse.

I truly can understand your being angry when you are trying so hard to concieve a child yourself. But try not to let your anger control others behavior.

On a lighter note, if there are no medical reason for your difficulties in getting pregnant, try just relaxing and just let things happens. I have a true story for you. It's about an attorney I used to work for (hopefully I can't sued for this - lol). Anyway, he and his wife were trying for several years to get pregnant. They had no luck but there were no medical reasons why they couldn't. So they decided to adopt figuring they just couldn't have children. They adopted a little girl. Well, about three months later his wife found out she was pregnant! All the doctor could come up with was that they were so stressed about getting pregnant that that is why they couldn't. Once they adopted, all the pressure was off and nature took its course.

I truly hope things work out for you and you have the child you wish for.

I know SO many cases of this happening. Amazing, isn't it?

It is remarkable how that happens, and it does happen a lot. Happened to me too! Well, we didn't adopt, but had trouble conceiving......ovulation predictors, BBT thermometers.........finally we just said "enough!" and quit "trying"! Just went back to whenever we felt like it! Got pregnant the next month.....

I'm sure this is very rare, but certainly makes a strong point about keeping abortion legal and safe.

I'd like to see some fact backing this all up. As a health care professional I can say, that if this woman had presented at a hospital, she would have been immediately seen, and treatment would have been provided. I hope she sues everyone of those healthcare facitlites that told a bleeding, contracting mom with a known dead fetus to stay home. She'd win a huge sum.

If Cheney is alright with gay's and same-sex marriage why wasn't his daughter who's lesbian up on stage with him and his other family at the Republican convention? Why did she stay behind in the room where they were? And why doesn't he stand up to President Bush about banning gay/lesbian marraiges? If he has said he is please let me know (provided with a direct link of course). Why do people talk so much about Bush and him being a Christian man if they don't need to enforce their religion? Why don't you ever see Kerry talking about his beliefs? Cause he doesn't need to yet we still hear people talk about Bush being a born again Christian all the time? It's great he has his beliefs and all but it's supposed to be seperate from the state ain't it?? Here also is Bush signing a bill to outlaw/ban partial birth control and abortion rights: http://www.bushflash.com/jpg/smallabo.jpg Oh and about saving the tree's if someone doesn't who will and what will happen to our oxygen on down the road?? I want my babies when I have them someday and my grandkids to still have healthy oxygen. My town used to be one of the top ten dirtiest cities in America and now we're so clean and beautiful and I want it to stay that way thanks to the trees and people caring about the environement. I've seen photos of my city years ago (I live in Chattanooga, TN) and it used to be so disgusting. I want it to stay beautiful like now and not overrun with smoke and smog from factories. XOXO.

I thought it was cute when someone's daughter wanted to know if Miffy was related to the cartoon character. :) I found a link to information about the Miffy show: http://www.noggin.com/shows/index.php It looks really cute. Noggin is a really great network that is programmed by MTV/Nickeloden networks. In the mornings and afternoons it's for little kids and in the evenings they show things like "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Degrassi: the Next Generation" (after the 80's show that's for this genereation and it's a great show for teens and talks about a lot of popular topics that young teens in middle and high school deal with from date rape to homosexuality), "Radio Free Rasco (about a group of teens who have their own radio show)," and "Daria" (popular from MTV in the 90's). They used to show "Clarissa" and I miss that show. :( XOXO.
