The Successes of President George Bush

Dear Reader,

I'm getting sick and tired of my fellow Americans

saying that the presidency of George W. Bush is a

failure. With the string of successes he's had,

nothing could be further from the truth. Let me list a

few:

1. He has successfully rid America of that troubling

budget surplus and turned it into a $500 billion

deficit.

2. He has successfully helped America's trading

partners have the highest trade surplus with us in

America's history.

3. He has successfully lowered the taxes for the

richest Americans and corporations at the expense of

99% of the American population.

4. He has successfully started another Viet Nam in

Iraq after lying to the whole world.

5. He has successfully pushed the price of gas up to

the highest level ever here in America.

6. He has successfully allowed American corporations

to dramatically increase their pollution.

7. He has successfully thrown about 10% of the

population out of work.

8. He has successfully allowed corporations to export

our best middle-class jobs.

9. He has successfully divided our country as never

before.

10. He has successfully driven our oldest allies away.

11. He has successfully united the terrorists as never

before (he said all along he was a uniter, not a

divider).

12. He has successfully broken his oath to uphold the

constitution of the United States of America.

13. He has successfully united Democrats (yay!) as

they haven't been for years (I told you he was a

uniter).

14. He has successfully driven me out of the

Republican party for the rest of my life.

You know, with a string of successes like that, it's a

wonder America is still standing.

<<"If Cheney is alright with gay's and same-sex marriage why wasn't his daughter who's lesbian up on stage with him and his other family at the Republican convention? Why did she stay behind in the room where they were? And why doesn't he stand up to President Bush about banning gay/lesbian marraiges?">>...... Doesn't Mary Cheney have any say in all this? Maybe? Júst a thought....

Hm, I would have thought that too (that drs would see her), but who knows. I know I've heard of pharmacists who refuse to fill a prescription for birth control pills, so I'm sure that there are also doctors that feel so strongly about abortion, or D&E, that they won't do it.

Maybe I'm naive, but it becomes a medical procedure when the baby has died. Leaving a dead baby inside the mother greatly increases the chance of infection and spells big trouble for the mom. Any loss of pregnancy is termed 'abortion', in the case of a miscarriage, as in this case, it is termed a 'spontaneous abortion', when a mom is in preterm labor, mainly before viability of the baby (which is typically considered to be 23-24 weeks) it is called 'threatened abortion'. Even on beliefs, there is a HUGE difference between preforming an abortion on a living child and assisting the delivery of a dead child.

Did Bush really not put in any funding for "No Child Left Behind"? And if so why is he still talking about that like he's really doing something with it? I've heard some people say this is like D.A.R.E. I remember DARE and that was a joke. I was in elementary back then (like 4th/5th grade). Heh heh. XOXO.

Speaking of the man carrying the baby didn't Arnold S have a movie where the guy got the pregnancy from his wife? I never saw it but saw the movie poster of it and previews when I was at the movie's once. XOXO.

I'm surprised too that there hasn't been a birth control for men. Is that possible? Condoms aren't that reliable. I had an ex who's mother was with a guy and they had sex and the condom broke and they got him. He was close to his mother but was living with his grandmother for a while (he's old enough now to live on his own) and he doesn't know his father and doesn't care to since he ran off leaving them. So men need to stand up too for protection stuff in relationships and not just rely on the woman to be taking the pill or something. XOXO.

She didn't want delivery. She wanted D&E, a procedure that few Dr's know how to do.

A procedure few Dr's know? You've got to be kidding. A D&C is not only done as a procudure for an abortion. Maybe it's a procedure some Dr's refuse to do for an abortion, but as I said, when it's done due to a fetal demise, it's no longer an 'abortion' in terms of a moral or ethical stance. Actually, the pregnancy would now be considered a 'missed abortion' and a D&C would be indicated if the baby was not expelled naturally in a specific amount of time, I can't remember the exact amount of time that is acceptable to wait for contractions and delivery, but it is very limited as I said, the potential for infection for the mom greatly increases after a point of time.

One more edit to add. As I also stated, if this woman was refused medical care, then she needs to be suing these Dr's. She's got an open and shut case and lots of $ coming her way.

Gotta like this edit feature, just wanted to correct. At 19 weeks it would not be catagorized as a missed AB but as an Intrauterine Fetal Death. Beyond the increased risk of infection, retaining the baby for too long also adds a more serious risk to the mom having to do with the clotting system, a very devastating problem.
