AOL Poll - Kerry in landslide

Is AOL considered a liberal group? I thought it would be pretty much even politically, but upon looking at their upcoming coverage for the conventions this is what I came across. I'm looking for conservatives to put some spin on this as it's not reflecting the other national polls that show the race as neck and neck. Thanks!

A landslide? No.

But Kerry will have close to 400 EV's.

When people bail out on the incumbant, they usually wait until the 11th hour.

Bush/Clinton were still tied in the polls on Election day morning.

How is 400 not a landslide? Pleast tell me you have info from somewhere that supports this? I just have trouble believing it no matter how much I want to.

I'm not citing it as fact, only opinion so you will get no 'Source' for this other than myself.

To me, it looks like a repeat of 1992 all over again. Bush/Cheney are running the same campaign Bush/Quayle did. They can't tell you about their own record, only tell you why you shouldn't vote Democrat.

When all you can do is attempt to tear down your opponent, it speaks volumes for their character and those who follow them.

Nothing seems to speak volumes to Bush supporters. They just seem to want to support him no matter what. I don't remember the Bush/Quayle campaign as being this passionate as it is now, nor as polarized. I like the saying that some people won't really make up their minds until they're in the voting booth with a final decision before them, but I'd like to see a poll I can trust that shows Kerry ahead by ten, and not just a post-convention bump (which I don't expect to be that high, maybe 2-3 points though).

On the other hand we'll soon reach the 1,000 soldier to die in Iraq, so the media will be forced to state that on the news, along with the 6-7,000+ soldiers wounded, the heightened security at the Olympics will be covered - and I'm sure there will be protests there from all over the world against Bush, and now that the 9/11 commission has released their report stating Bush and Co. were asleep at the switch, NY will welcome them with open arms for their convention . I was really upset that the GOP would try to exploit NY like that. I just hope nobody gets hurt up there as I'm sure protest license or not, things will get ugly.

I had business in NY in June before the construction on the Freedom Tower started and I took the train right into the pit that was the World Trade Centers. The people on the train, true New Yorkers, wouldn't even look up or out the windows. They all stared at the floor and quickly left the train when it stopped. These poor people. When do they start healing?
