Kerry: Gaining Edge on Terror

"Senator John Kerry said on Friday he would seek to persuade voters over the next three months that he would do a "better job than George Bush" in protecting the nation from terrorism..." http://www.nytimes.com/2004/07/25/politics/campaign/25KERR.html?ei=5065&en=789ba5a17982cc66&ex=1091332800&partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print&position=
"In response to a question, Mr. Kerry said he has given no thought to the possibility of a terrorist attack taking place in the midst of the presidential campaign. "I don't think about it; I can't control it," he said." http://justoneminute.typepad.com/main/2004/07/i_cant_conrol_i.html

I was referring that hindsight has shown those to military commanders to be absolutely right about the impending threat that each country faced during the time that each commander warned the US about them.
Yes....everyone in the country owns everything, but nobody makes any money and many live in poverty (at least in the USSR this was the case for a majority of the people).

Yes, slavery is an abomination, but how do you feel about Stalin? >>
Yes, we can agree he was horrible to say the least, but my asking the question came from your comparing communism & slavery. I'd say killing millions of people is a rather huge horror, too. Communism on a bad day was very brutal.
