Whether you agree with the movie or not, you have to admit it is doing pretty well..

Nicely said and it is definately a plus, no matter who they vote for!

''I believe the film is going to bring hundreds of thousands of people to the polls who otherwise were not going to vote,'' Moore said. ''I think it's going to have a tremendous impact in that way.''

LOS ANGELES, July 25 — What do Shrek, Spider-Man, Michael Moore and Harry Potter have in common? They all produced $100 million movie hits this summer

Moore's condemnation of President Bush's actions regarding the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the documentary ''Fahrenheit 9/11'' had a weekend haul of $5 million to lift its total to $103.35 million since opening in late June.

The previous best domestic gross for a feature-length documentary was $21.6 million for Moore's Academy Award-winning ''Bowling for Columbine.'' That film took nine months to hit that level, while ''Fahrenheit 9/11'' did more business, $23.9 million, in just its first weekend.

The polarizing effects of Sept. 11 and its aftermath, with Americans bitterly divided over Bush's invasion of Iraq, have boosted the public's appetite for political documentaries such as ''Fahrenheit 9/11,'' ''Control Room'' and ''Outfoxed,'' Moore said.

''It's really cool now to talk about politics, and this is the first time I've seen this happen in decades, really,'' Moore said Sunday. ''Being apathetic right now is very uncool.''

The real effect of ''Fahrenheit 9/11'' will be to encourage Americans normally disinterested in politics to participate this fall, Moore said.

''I believe the film is going to bring hundreds of thousands of people to the polls who otherwise were not going to vote,'' Moore said. ''I think it's going to have a tremendous impact in that way.''

Moore said he had hoped to have ''Fahrenheit 9/11'' out on DVD before the November election, but that the film could continue to play in theaters through year's end and into 2005

This just goes to show, the Liberals aren't the only ones watching this movie.

What Moore has done is raise Awareness for the political process. He's raised awareness for Bush's war in Iraq. He's raised awareness that being critical of the President IS A VERY PATRIOTIC thing to do.

Say what you will about Moore, at least he hired and used someone to BACK UP HIS INTELLIGENCE that he used for the movie.

That's more than Bush or his supporters can say for Bush's claims about Intelligence involving Iraq.

I saw the film and I do think that parts of it was very biased (to be expected) and parts were a little unfair as well. But anyone going to see a Moore film should realize that and be prepared to investigate some of the claims he makes.

However, Moore did not make this film simply to attack the president. He isn't endorsing a party in this film and he was sharply critical of the Democrat's role in the run up to Iraq as well as the role played by the media.

This film was very good for one thing and that was to open up the debate. Democrats and Republicans alike should sit back and think "HMMMMM, what really IS going on?"

You're absolutely right. He has not signed onto or endorsed any party. This is another of a LONG LINE of misconceptions that Bush lovers have about Moore.

Moore's been on record time and time again of being critical of Bill Clinton and his adminstration during his tenure as President, The Bush lovers don't care.

Moore said of Clinton: He's the best republican president the Democrats ever had.
