I copied the above link to this new topic because I really think this is at the bottom of what this election is really all about.

I really want to know exactly how a reporter is NOT Ms. Kerrys' equal.

In a slip, one of our Republican vanguards told us how she really thinks. In this slip, you can see she thinks that "Everyone has a place." Everyone has a "position" on the social hierarcy in the Republican world. And everyone should know their "place" and act accordingly.

Ms. Kerry, who is one of the "better sort" shouldn't be attacking a reporter, "who wasn't her equal." Someone of Ms. Kerry's "background" shouldn't be doing this.

How was this reporter not Ms. Kerrys' equal? By his color? By the amount of money he had vs. the amount of money she had? I really want to know.

I have tried to post on other boards about this class war that the Republicans have been waging against those they see as "lower class." And of course, it is denied. But here you have the admission from one of their own. There are "classes" in America, and people should act according to their class. And stay in them, also?

Was it education? Is that how Ms. Kerry was "superior?" Tell us, please. We need to know just what you think of all of us not "born to the manor," and not having the right "background" are curious. Are we "uppity" when we question Republican programs? Do we cause you grief when we don't vote for the "right" people? Tell us, please. I've never known a Republican as honest as you about the class war you're fighting. Should the idea of "one person, one vote" be replace by a plutocracy, run by, you know, the "right kind of people?" Like yourself, no doubt?

But don't let me put words in your mouth. Your honesty is refreshing.

Tell us, please how, in your world view, the reporter is not Ms. Kerrys' "equal."

And while you're at it, please tell us what part of Ms. Kerry's "background" she forgot when she told a reporter to "shove it?" And how did Mr. Vice President happen to escape your background check?

What about the guys and gals in the military? Are they in the right class, or just lower class cannon fodder, who can be used in any way necessary to protect people with the right "background?"

By the way, while you're at it, have you made a list of those of us on this board who don't have the right "background" and aren't your equal? I really want to know.
