Bush campaign obsessed with Kerry

Have a look at the two websites.  The first thing you see on the Bush site is a big picture of Kerry and the lead story about Kerry’s “makeover”, and links to lots of Kerry bashing.  I get the feeling that Bush wants to distract from his lack of ideas.

Look at the Kerry website and there is not a word about Bush, only what Kerry plans to do for the country.

I may not like Kerry very much, and I may wish that the Dems had chosen a better candidate, but at least he's not directly engaging in smear tactics, and at least his website gives information on exactly what it is he aims to do.

I know what you mean...But Kerry has been talking about improving the diplomatic relations since the begining of his campaign which the right wing are saying succumbing to corrupt UN.. You know Bush was given authority to war by the congress, based on condition that he exhaust all the other methods to get Saddam to cooeperate get UN on our side getting our allied to fully support the war in terms of costs and troupes before going to war. But he didn't. Even my Dad in India who doesnot listen to Kerry campaign asked me why are they not first conducting talks? So the whole world knows America is just showing of her power and arrogance as far as the war in Iraq is concerned. So Kerry is going to exhaust all the methods before he takes us to war. Sometimes war is inevitable but if it is waged at a last resort, there is some sense of peace and dignity in our lives.. This is just my opinion... I hope I didn't go too off track..:-)

-- people charging Kerry with all kinds of allegations and flip-flops. Nothing proven yet,

Look at his voting record for 19 years.

Look at what he said PRIOR to the war in Iraq, compared to what he is saying now.

Do a little research and find his speach to the Senate prior to the vote on sending troops into Iraq. He sounded like he wanted the troops in there more than the President.

Look at what he says about not being in the pocket of major corporations or special interest groups, and then look closely at how he handled the Big Dig.

If that is not proof then you are blinded by your partisanship.

Actually, that is not the case.

Bush was given the authority to use military force as the administration saw fit. The Senate voted this because as far as they were concerned, all other avenues had been thoroughly exhausted.

By going to the UN for more resolutions, I presume that you felt that 11 years of non-compliance by Hussein was just not enough, and the fact that he had violated 17 resolutions that came about due to his unconditional surrender in the Gulf War.

So once again, Must it only be USA who can choose to not comply to UN? rest of the world must? Why was Iraq attack when just few months before 9/11 Condoleeza Rice and Rumsfeld said that Saddam was well contained and not a threat to US? How come all the intelligence memo changed the story after 9/11 about Iraq. There was no politics in washington after 9/11, everyone was agreeing with Bush(though not right IMO). But I would expect much more intelligence from a Commander in Cheif of USA.
