Bush campaign obsessed with Kerry

Have a look at the two websites.  The first thing you see on the Bush site is a big picture of Kerry and the lead story about Kerry’s “makeover”, and links to lots of Kerry bashing.  I get the feeling that Bush wants to distract from his lack of ideas.

Look at the Kerry website and there is not a word about Bush, only what Kerry plans to do for the country.

I may not like Kerry very much, and I may wish that the Dems had chosen a better candidate, but at least he's not directly engaging in smear tactics, and at least his website gives information on exactly what it is he aims to do.

I remember Powell's first draft being rejected, because it used the wording military force and was changed from that to serious consequences.

Not that I mind being wrong on this, my moral fiber will remain just fine in my stern and total opposition to this war that didn't have to be.

And with good reasons, many of their reasons (Along with the 10's of millions of HUMAN beings against the war) turned out to be quite right.

It's amazing, that what was once considered good ground for the President has turned so sour.

"When I look a mother or father of slain soldier in the eye, I want to say to them: I did everything I could to prevent this and that war was absolutely the last alternative"

Michael Moore may not think so, but Americans are pretty smart, especially when it comes to their sons and daughters.

Not debating your moral fiber here, as that is an impossible thing to debate.

With hindsight I am against the war now, but with the information available at the time, I did support the action.

If you are speaking about Iraq, I agree.

Yes I was talking about Iraq.

And while, the UN has a long standing history of flip flopping and being without BALLS they can and were, right about Iraq.

As for the UN having no balls: Why does the United States pull out its veto more than 2 dozen times when Israel is forced to comply with UNSC resolutions? And why does france catch all the Bullschweebie for 'ONLY THREATENING' to veto?

When did the UN ever vote on enforcing a resolution?

When did the UN ever come down on a country or coallition for acting on UN resolutions?

The resolutions agains Israel are under a different section of the UN charter than the Iraq ones. The later section is enforcable; the former isn't. They're more like 'shoulds' than 'have tos.'

Exactly.

The last time I checked, Iraq unconditionally surrendered, not Israel or any other country.
