Destroy All Religion

Here is my proposal. I find that weak people often turn to religion to 'ask' their God for things like daily bread or healthcare problems. So if government provides us all with free healthcare, free food and everything else free than people will realize that it is government that solves their problems, not some stupid god like Jesus Christ that never answers their troubles. Thus as government grows, religion contracts, look around the world and see that more government societies have less religion.
This is why I urge you all to vote for John Kerry, he will make things more free like free universal healthcare and free college education. His proposals are a good step in my opinion in ridding the world of all religion and faith, as like I just said people will look to government more for answers.
We all know religion is the root of all problems in this country, join me and vote Democrat so we can all move to a better world of no religion.

Look at it....everything the government gets involved in is a total disaster. Do I want them dictating how I get medical treatment? Hardly.
Do I want the government saying where and how my children should be taught? Never. Guidelines are one thing, but taking away my freedom to choose where I would send my child is just wrong.
That is just the tip of the iceberg as well.
Really? Kerry has promised free healthcare and free college education? Just FYI, free in terms of liberal Democrats actually translates to "paid for by those who work for a living".
Also FYI, John Kerry is an avowed Roman Catholic who claims that he believes life begins at conception (although granted he believes it ought to be up to anyone who feels like it to snuff that life right out...)
Sorry, go left not directed at you, just responding to this quote-"weakens the growth of government"? Hallelujah! Religion or no religion, anything that weakens the growth of gevernment is a-ok in my book. Your argument sounds a bit fascist to me-Hitler disliked religion for the very same reason.
BUT... I think that religion is not all bad, in fact, I believe that for some it shows a serious strength. I have come to know a lot of religious people in my life, and found that they are more thoughtful than I though I could not see that at first glance.
It's funny how many of you are taking it seriously!
