This poor woman is dead now. Gasp, do we have another Vince Foster scenario on our hands? Maybe we can get Moveon to make this ad and go all over tv with this story.

"A Fort Bend County woman files a lawsuit on former Governor and current sitting President George W. Bush.

Margie Schoedinger of Missouri City, Texas has filed a lawsuit against George W. Bush in Fort Bend County Court. In her suit she is alleging "race based harassment and individual sex crimes committed against her and her husband." The suit lists numerous offenses and asks for actual damages, punitive damages and judgments against George W. Bush."

Hey you know what? I agree with you and thank you for pointing that out. I never noticed before but it is true. the anti war ones are always making movies depicting violnce. but who keeps them in business? we are as much to blame because, collectively, we all like that stuff in one form or another.

Sometimes no matter what a parent does... a kid does the wrong stuff, and sometimes because of situations, a parent cannot be all that he or she wants to be. it is not that easy. I think we should all wait until our kids are all raised and doing fine before we start talking about what can and can't be done to keep them out of trouble.

that is my opinion, I think it is too easy to judge.

Ha, hurt by more attention to Kerry saving the life of a Special Forces officer and receiving a Bronze Star for it? We actually know where Kerry was and we don't know where Bush was and you think Kerry's going to be hurt?? You're dreaming.

Anyway, Kerry came out against the AWOl stuff and the Hitler Bush ad a long time ago. Not the one the Bushies used on their own web site smearing Democrats, the one the Republicans were whining about that got put up at Moveon by mistake. He also said he doesn't approve of any of these ads and supports public campaign financing and has for years. He wrote clean campaign legislation with Paul Wellstone.

Kerry's got more class and integrity in his little finger nail than the entire Bush gang could ever hope to have.

Hi service is not an issue. It is his qualification to fight the war in Iraq. Debate about his policies on Iraq war not his medals of vietnam war. Debate what Bush has done about the Iraq war. I think the focus is getting away from important issues like the war in Iraq, economy etc...

Works both ways. If you claim pay stubbs aren't good enough to prove Bush was putting in his time, you can't claim that a decoration is unassailable and we don't have a right to investigate how it was earned and who awarded it.

I know this is off topic but I have found that too. My son is friends with a couple of boys whose parents are fundamentalist Christians. I am horrified by the violent movies and video games he plays/wathces when he is visiting their houses. Also, I always have to make a quick getaway when I go there to pick him up to avoid the inevitable religion lecture from the Mom.

Two things stand out in my mind with these people. The first is after letting my 9 year old son watch Alien (he didn't sleep for a month after that one), Gone in 60 Seconds, and American Pie, she had the audacity to complain to me when the boys played with my sons' Harry Potter toys (along with a long lecture about witchcraft being evil etc...). The second was when I had to intervene when the boys were doing a group project about the Mayans. On the subject of the Mayan culture, she instructed her son to ignore all the historical evidence and say that the Mayan civilization fell because they worshipped pagan gods. I feel funny about this but I don't really want my son playing with these boys and the only excuse I can give is that they are religious nutcases? I never thought I'd think that way.

I had a similar situation with my 9y/o DS. One of his closest friends is being raised by his grandparents and apparently they only believe in Creationism....The 2 little boys actually had a discussion about "Adam and Eve" vs Evolution, I was pretty floored by the whole conversation.
