"The Kerry campaign calls on a publisher to 'withdraw book' written by group of veterans, claiming veterans are lying about Kerry's service in Vietnam and operating as a front organization for Bush. Kerry campaign has told Salon.com that the publisher of UNFIT FOR COMMAND is 'retailing a hoax'... If that's the case, Kerry can sue the authors.

In fact, Kerry has recently changed his story behind his silver star, stating that he did not remain at the scene, but pulled his boat out while the other four PCF's remained.
This is a major shift in what Kerry had been saying for over 30 years. Why the change all of a sudden? Could it possibly be because other Veterans who were there are coming forward to dispute his recollection of the facts? I dont know, but it seems odd to me to change a story that is "seared" into his mind.
Slander, pleeze! Mr. Kerry needs to develop a backbone and toughen up. Imagine if Bush demanded all of the negative books that have been written about him to be pulled! Did we ask Michale Moore to not release his movie even though it is full of LIES?? I don't think so. What I see is the Kerry campaign self imploding not just on this issue, but on many fronts. The latest is that he has filed a complaint to the FEC...which makes him look like a bigger fool.
John McCain is a man of integrity. A man to be admired regardless of party affiliation.
Bush is really a Republican version of Lyndon Johnson. A sneaky, dishonest, self-serving kinda guy that thinks it's clever to "put one over" on the opposition. If this appeals to more Americans than not, other countries may have good reason to disdain us.
If the U.S. (& the world) can survive 4 more years of this smirking, arrogant, bluffing excuse for a real man - history will one day show the truth.
Kerry may not have been my first choice for president, but he stands head and shoulders above Bush.
No, no, no... you're off message... Bush is dumb... Bush is dumb... your implying by sneaky or even dishonest that Bush may not be dumb... and as we all know the liberal and Democrat mantra has been Bush is dumb... you just can't have it every which way :-o
A statement like "put one over" could give Mr. Moore a heart attack (as could another fry). Bush is a simple child.... dumb... rember the message :-) If ever confronted with facts such as he graduated Yale AND Harvard, always blame connections ... as long as the connections don't involve Bush's synapses :-)
:-)
I stand corrected. Bush is sneaky AND dumb.
You're still off message, sneaky requires cunning... cunning requires some smarts... Democrats and liberals mantra is Bush is Dumb...
:-)
