What will you do if Bush wins?

I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

But isn't the President supposed to be fair to everybody and not put his beliefs before anything else? That seems to me what he's doing with the whole gay thing. And what about the whole Christian thing about not judging someone? He's doing that and it's not his place to judge someone. They just want to be happy too. Nobody really knows what things are like on the other side until you die and get there so that's what I don't get on why he's being like God and judging people. I've always heard that if you judge someone then you'll be judged just like how you judged the person. I was brought up Christian (now days I'm more of a spiritualist but still attend a Christian church and stuff) and you're always taught the whole golden rule and stuff. I wish Bush would worry more about safety with the whole 9/11 thing, edcuation, etc. And with abortion it's that person's choice. What if something was wrong with the baby and it had to be aborted later on in the pregnancy to save the mother's life? But because of everything with Bush and he took away that right the mother and babies life could be at stake? I do believe in not having abortion but it's not our place to tell someone. They can make their own decisions too. I personally wonder what it'd be like to have a President who isn't religious. Would he/she do a better job and not put their faiths in the way? XOXO.

My mother is Christian and she isn't for Bush. I think she's leaning towards Kerry but she doesn't really say much about the election. So not all Christian's like Bush. I don't really talk much about the election to other people. XOXO.

There's also pollution from planets and stuff. My town used to be one of the dirtiest cities in the world (or maybe the States?) and I've always heard stories about it from this teacher I had in high school. I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee and I've seen pics and stuff and this place used to be so filthy it was disgusting. But now it's really beautiful and I love being here. There's tons of great parks and the air is much cleaner and everywhere you go it's just nice. Even in the inner city. I'm sure there's still some problems with garbage and whatnot, but if my town can be cleaned then with time other towns can be too. It is a problem but you just gotta realize it and clean it up with time and effort from all the people too. Not just the President. XOXO.

I too love to learn from other people. That way if someone I know is talking about something and I know about it then I don't look like a fool around them. Heh heh. XOXO.

Great post! And may I add that this is a country for ALL the people and many of them are not Christians or any religion at all. Any person who becomes president should keep his religion out of running the country who is for all Americans.

You my dear are full of cr**. I don't have a large family, but I have one child and another on the way, and I have property. Most people I know with large families have property as they surely can't live in a cramped apartment that will likely cost more then a mortgage. My granparents had 10kids and a foster child, and they had their own property.

I have not always had kids but I never had a problem contributing to the education of our country. There are plenty of tax laws that I pay towards that have nothing to do with me, and I will continue to pay them. Why? Because it doesn't matter that I'm not old, the elderly people have a right to a fair shake as well as I do, I'm not poor but the poor have a right to a fair shake as well as I do, I'm not abused but the abused have a right to a fair shake as well as I do, I'm not without health insurance but those without have a right to a fair shake as well as I do, and on and on and on.

I'm sure all that extra tax money could help me feel more comfy in my life but it sure won't help me feel good about all the crud that would be going on around me if those tax funds were pulled. I'm not going to be the one to put our education into a worse position then it already is. That kind of attitude tawards all the many taxes that don't directly affect you is selfish, and whether you agree or not will just make your life worse in the long run. Buy the way there is a lot of cr** those parents have to pay to their kids public schools that you will never have to worry your pretty little pocket book about. So don't act like they don't pay more into it than you because in most cases you are way off.

Everything I hear coming from Republicans is basically the same: "Don't take my money away from me." Don't tax me, don't make me stop polluting because it will cause me to spend money to make my production cleaner, don't raise my license tabs, don't help anyone else or worry about the economy because it will cost money. It sounds very simplistic but there it is. And they have the absolute perfect president to make sure they get more money, conquor more countries where they can make more money and pay fewer taxes.

That's funny that Bush didn't know about 24/7. Doesn't he have teenage daughters? Heh heh. I'm sure they could/should keep him in the know about teenage things, right? Even my parents know about latest things that I'm interested in and I'm in my early twenties. Heh heh. XOXO.

The economy has been growing slower with the highest deficit in the history of the country.

We are not fighting terrorism, we are fighting a war in a country which had nothing to do with the attack on this country. The terrorists are still out there while we throw our money at a war that was begun with a lie and no exit strategy.

It will get worse, not better if things continue on as they have. I shudder to think of it.

What Clinton did pales in comparison with sending our sons and daughters to war with a lie and no exit strategy. What Clinton did was between him and his family. What Bush has and is doing is a war crime. Why are we not impeaching this bozo????

Saddam Hussein is not the only horrible dictator in the world and not the worst. Why are we not then in those regions toppling those dictators? A president should be very careful about sending our troops to war. Soldiers sent to war don't want to leave their families or die any more than you or I do. They are often in the service as part timers or for educational and economic reasons. They go where their country sends them, like it or not, and when we send them it should be only after all other options are exhausted and there is no other way to solve the problem, and then only with a carefully planned exit strategy.
