I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

<<It does not convince me...reality is, that property owners are forced to pay for the school systems, and too often, LARGE families are not property owners, and so do not in reality contribute to supporting the schools they are using. >>

Everyone pays property taxes whether they rent or own.

Deficits are measured as a percentage of GDP. We are not close to historical highs, and, in fact, have a quite reasonably sized deficit.

Do you watch the news at all, did you not listen to the News reports last week on the two investigative reports that were released regarding the abuse issue...categorically they stated that the blame went CLEAR UP THE CHAIN of command for various reasons that were not directly related to, but contributed to the environment that allowed the abuse to happen.

1. Lack of adequate manpower.

2. Lack of proper training for the soldiers.

3. Lack of specificity in the proper treatment of prisoners and their interogation.

4. Improperly allowing certain aspects of interogations to be handled by civilian personel.

Come on, stop try to pretend you have your head in the sand here. It's as if anyone Republican is deliberately wanted to ignore all the negative news coming out about this administration in the hopes that in doing so it will all go away and Bush can be re-elected for four more years.

<<Because of Bush's tax cuts, many people lost jobs and many pograms were cut that benefitted alot of people.>>

You're grasp of economics seems a bit off. Jobs are lost when when taxes go up, not down.

Broaden her/his perspectives....PLEASE. It is a very common and well known fact that this nation is divided. Furthermore, it is also a fact that those lines of division to a great degreee or not only intellectual differences, but the lines of divisions are also very geographically identifiable on a map, and can be seen almost every day on every 24 hour news channel divided into Blue and Red states. I live in New York, with a HUGE population, but being one who supports the Democratic ticket as most in New York do, I rarely come into contact with any one that supports Bush...that fact does not mean I am ill informed, nor does it infer or suggest that I need my perspectives broadened. What I wonder sometimes, is if any Republican has asked themselves what the repercussions are going to be a second time around if Rural Americans somehow successfully thwart the will of the majority through use of the Electorial College.
