I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

Can you believe all the new names & faces around here? Nothing like a political convention & street protests to get people all roiled up. ;-)

LOL....you do love to spread propaganda. If your statement were true, then why is it that the states with the largest influx of illegal aliens (New York, California, Florida and Texas) are constantly trying to get Washington to pick up the tab since it is their laws and the lack of enforcement of same that are overburdening their social service programs, and threatening the financial stability of state and local budgets. Additionally, it is a known fact that some 87 percent of illegal aliens work UNDERTHETABLE, and so are shirking/cheating on paying their fair share of the tax burden in this nation.

Feed your lies and propaganda to someone else, as I know better.

Renee, again a nice RED HERRING....I've heard that old arguement that property taxes are rolled into the rent being paid by the renters. In fact and deed, that has been ruled not to be true. I own property, you pay me rent, I decide not to pay my property taxes, county auditor files court papers and my house gets sold at auction to the highest bidder to pay said property taxes. Personal winning the bid tells the people living in the house they have to vacate....they have no leg to stand on claiming that the house never should have been sold since they paid property taxes.

Wishing it were so does not make it so, and though tenants may believe they pay property taxes, it has been held they do not legally.

You do love to try to spin a tall tail and mitigate the truth of the facts...face it, we have the highest deficit we have ever had in this country, and Bush's own Federal Reserve Chairman just this past week said that the deficit is creating a situation where our benefits are not going to be there for us when we retire.

Fact...Bush cut taxes. Fact, in four years despite his cutting of taxes, his administration has created a NEGATIVE 1.2 million jobs, the worst job creation rate in 75 years. So, where in your statement can we find the flaw, because it is PAINFULLY obvious that Bush's tax cuts DID NOT CREATE JOBS.

<<Seems to me, that you are trying to hijack a thread about Bush being re-elected, and turn it into your podium for your pro-life positions.>>

Some of our best discussions around here are tangents that we have run off on. ;- )
