I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

Like I said, I do my homework. Go to charitywatch.org, it grades charities based on how much they spend on programs vs. overhead. My guess is in the charitable field the federal government would get an F. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation spends 95% of its revenue on programs and only 5% on overhead. The money I give to my local women's shelter goes to feed clothe and shelter battered women and their families. My husband and I have donated our time to Habitat for Humanity, helping low income people own their own homes, and I recenlty signed up for with the local literacy council to help tutor illiterate adults in reading. So no, what I give does not go to a rich CEO, or if CFF has a rich CEO he is doing a fabulous job and deserves every penny for raising so much money to help cure this horrendous disease.

Have you ever seen government programs make a dent in joblessness and poverty? Show me some evidence that they ever have and I'll gladly pony up more taxes. The government sucks money out of the economy, it puts little if any back in.

I wasn't just refering to prolife prochoice, there are other issues that Bush tries to push that have alot to do with his beliefes.

Nice though to see you trying it on for size, since in three more months, that is going to be reality for the next four years.

<<She has tens of thousands of dollars in doctor bills that she is paying on, she is on expensive medications that she could probably get cheaper from Canada if she was allowed.>>

What's keeping her from getting her meds from Canada?

Well, for starters unless she wants to break the law, Bush's Republican Controlled House and Senate, and his wish not to allow Americans to buy cheaper drugs.
