What will you do if Bush wins?

I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

Actually Renee, your comment about the Bush's administration and Rumsfield's position on the draft is a flat out lie, though the discussion at the Pentagon are being kept very hush hush. However, a visit to Stars and Stripes internet site will give you the very real information that in light of the war in Iraq, coupled with extended tours and an over use of our Reservists is creating a severe inability on the part of recruiters (even with increased incentives) to meet their enlistment quotas, or even come close to them. In fact, you will also fine out that those who out of high who signed up for the delayed entry program are finding themselves called up to basic training far sooner then they had agreed to be called up to meet current troop strength needs.

Further, said publication quietly conceeds that some discussion is currently taking place at the Pentagon creating a mandatory draft for certain specific fields of expertise.

<<The latest Republican spin I heard, was that at the beginning of an Economic BOOM it is normal to have large portions of the population living in poverty and not having medical coverage! >>

LOL! Who have you been listening to?

Some schools do that, others don't. Different areas all have diferent ways and criteria for how they get funded. Some are well funded, and some very poorly. When I lived in VA out in the country we paid for everything. Books, art supplies, band equipment, fees etc. It was very expensive for my mom to pay for 4 kids school fees. But in WA we harley had to pay for any of that unless we messed up our books. My sis when she was in High scool was constantly paying for things, and they couldn't even take books home because the district was so underfunded.

Dear Renee:

First, I do have family in high places, and secondly, unlike some, I make it a point of keeping up on ALL THE NEWS, rather than narrowly focusing in on only the news that supports my point of view.

I say the longer you are out of work the more you damage your career goals of any sort.

Welcome jennifer_heinz! Before you go on, you might want to at least read the Executive Summary of the 911 Commission's Report. ; )
