I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

Dear Venus:

A reality of working in America...especially in these trying times. Fact of the matter is, if your boss asks you to stay late, or to come in on a Saturday and you say no very often, you are not going to be working at that company for very long. Further, you do not want to admit it, but bosses routinely ask single people, and married people without children to be the one to stay late. The fact that your husband as a nice guy takes a shift for a pal is comparing apples to oranges.

Thank you ... I couldn't have said it better myself. Your response was clear, concise, eloquent & compassionate, without malice or self-righteousness. The world needs more of your insight.

Renee, since you seem bent on defending illegal aliens today. Have you looked at the Republican Party Platform concerning illegals? For those of us who heard Greenspans words on the Social Security System and our benefits not being there for us, maybe you can explain this inequity for Americans living in America LEGALLY.

Illegal Aliens living and working in America should be allowed to qualify for and collect Social Security Benefits after contributing to the system for six quarters. Now, before you answer, please keep in mind that a full legal American citizen must pay into the Social Security System for FORTY QUARTERS before being allowed to collect one penny of benefits from said system.

Now, do you ACTUALLY AGREE WITH THIS, or are you willing to admit that the Republican Party is pandering in a crass attempt to win over a certain percentage of the Mexican vote during this election since it is apparent that said block of voters is key to winning the Whitehouse in this closely fought Presidential Election?

It is if you wish to have said drugs SHIPPED to you say via UPS...which means, for the majority of Americans who do not live any where near the Canadian border, cheaper drugs are defacto withheld. Futher more, the Republicans Refused to pass a bill out of committee onto the floor for a vote that would have allowed Medicare/Medicaid to buy drugs in bulk....seems said Republicans were too impressed with the drug industries presentation to them over cocktails while dining on lobster in Maui.

Renee, with all due respect....as I pointed out, I just about an hour ago now watched a Lou Dobbs interview on CNN.

During the Bush administration, there is a negative 1.2 million jobs created. In short, no matter how you want to attempt a spin, we currently have 1.2 million fewer jobs than when Bush took office. Has he and this administration created jobs...Yes. However, they through outsourcing (Which Bush himself claimed was GOOD FOR OUR ECONOMY...if you are very rich) and economic downturns have actually seen a net loss in the number of jobs available of 1.2 million. Scary still, is the very real fact that if not for a couple of good months earlier this year, the number would be FAR HIGHER than it is. According to the reports from the last two months, that ROBUST job growth rate of earlier in the year has actually dried down to almost a trickle of 29,000 new jobs last month. At said rate, it is impossible for the President to claim he created one positive job in this entire country during his entire four years in office...NOW THAT IS SCARY.

If you do not believe me Renee, Fox has tapes available for sale, and you are more than welcome to go back and review the tapes, tapes of a live show DO NOT LIE, unlike our current resident of the Whitehouse.
