What will you do if Bush wins?

I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

**Not surprisingly, you totally missed the points in my post, and make it abundantly clear that you do not seem to have within you the intellectual abilities to appreciate the subtle nuances of humor used in making certain points.

Your not funny. And you see how your scarcasim is so rude and disrespectful?

I agree with your issue on Illegal aliens. I never said anything otherwise, have I?. I am asking why you refer to Mexicans so much. Seems like you picking on them in particular. Just curious?

****I would assume could agree that not all those recieving welfare in its various forms are mooches, leachs and scum bags out for a free ride on the hard working backs of the working class?

This IS the problem in my state. It is overly abused. I don't care how much I am paying for it, I just want something done about it. There is nothing wrong with getting help, but living off of it your whole is troubling to me. I know people. I know how it works. It's bragged about here. So I don't really need you to educate me on the issue. It's a concern of mine and you shouldn't judge me on it. And yes, if our Rep. canidate for govenor had won, there would be less people mooching and more people working. He had a great plan to help those on welfare. YES, I said HELP!

***You are going to tell me here, that one who professes to be so Christian, so generous is going to hold such anger, bitterness and animosity towards someone less fortunate than yourself over 2/5ths of a penny?

I don't know how you figured I was sooooo angry and bitter. That's another of your bad traits. You put words in my mouth. You need to stop exaggerating so much, seriously. Your almost like a drama queen. (Just a bit of my humor) I just think that things should change, just like you want things to change. Why do you feel your changes are more important and more "moral" than mine? Stop talking about Christianity, like I said before there is not so much "less fortunate" here than you think. And there are plenty of jobs here also. So please stop trying to portray me as an evil Christian. You really need to stop that. You just don't like me b/c I stood up to your disrespect and scarcasim.

Sounds good in theory doesn't it. The fact is when Clinton was pres, taxes were higher, there was a surplus of jobs, the defecit was low, and there was alot more funding to help people who needed it.

Bush is giving tax breaks to companies for outsourcing which has taken good paying jobs away from the american people. Why do companies do this? Because the labor is cheaper, so when you go to the store and buy these products, are they cheaper? No. This is just another way for corporate bigwigs to fatten there wallets! The problem is also that all these tax breaks mainly benefitted the wealthy to begin with. If jobs are created when taxes go down, then where are all the jobs now. Take a look at yesterdays classified section. Before Bush took over it used to be the thickest part of the newspaper.

In order to work legally in the US, you must have a valid social security card, or authorization to work here, and the employer has to have proof of it per the I-9 form. Illegals don't have these, so how can they pay federal income tax and FICA?

I live in FL where we ranked pretty high on the list for new jobs created. However, what the numbers did not reflect was the numbers of jobs lost. Therefore, now matter how you look at it when you take the number of jobs that were created and subtract the amount of jobs that were lost(sorry I don't have the exact figures on hand) it's still a negative number. So we have alot less jobs now then we did 4 years ago, and if you feel this is because of the growing numbers of workers, then why would the president allow job outsourcing when we clearly need these jobs at home?
