I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

Being Christian does not automatically mean one is a pacifist. Just as one can't ask "How can Christians vote for Kerry" he says that he is a catholic and does not believe in abortion, yet he supports a womens right to abort a living fetus/baby. You have to be careful when you paint people with too board of a brush.

I never said that...It is the general atmosphere around Bush and the way his supporters act. It does leave one uncomfortable that he was fired just for asking unfriendly question to the President. The same person said on the air yesterday that Kerry's speeches and more open and he tries to answer questions even from a non supporter. I guess he is from one of the swing state.

May be Bush is not aware of this thing or may be he is... since the original discussion was about freedom and rights, it is also contended that FBI is misusing their questioning authority against the protestors in the rpublican convention... SO the original poster has the right to feel that her or his freedom is at stake.

"How can REAL Christians actually support Bush?"

That's the first time I ever heard that question! Usually the question is, how can any Christian vote for a Democrat? Christians support President Bush/Republicans because they are against abortion, and against using embryos for stem cell research, and against unions between gays, in favor of faith-based community programs...

Also, Christians want to have a Christian for a president. They are thrilled to finally have a president who truly has a strong, sincere faith.

I think that any person trying to endorse George Bush would be expected to deny that he is ignorant to our environmental issues. This does not impress me as being factual in any way. It is adressing the issue of global warming which, while important is still not the only or most imkportant factor. I read a past post about the Earth's natural pollutants and I have to say that is a joke. Yes it does some damage, and can do a lot to an area.... But do volcanoes spit out toxic chemical warfare type of pollutants? I mean, only man can come up with stuff like agent orange. all kinds of things we do do not respect out environment. Bush makes money off of companies that build weapons and destroy our environment. People get sick or die all the time because of pullutants around them, and they are not natural. What natural force has rendered a person sterile due to exposure? or made a persons babies grow incorrectly?

The biggest factor of global warming is our dear sun. What are Democrats going to do about the sun, legislate new laws of physics?

Sometimes I think that the pres only has a bit on infuluence, other times I think he is a puppet for his interest groups. (No matter which party)

as for what goes on in my head... Yep. I am a regular genius in there.

REAL christians would really not be able to support any candidate, actually, But you have to keep it out of your vote. It is not about religion and never will be. Some people just take it to mean that it is.

I'm not going to go through all the messages in here because I can see that everything else I've read is just very nasty, and closed minded. I will just answer the question in the heading.

I will continue to do the same thing I have done most of the time that Bush has been in office. That is worry about what may happen next, wonder what freedoms he will attempt to take from our people, listen to him try to push his beliefes and opinions off on the nation, and make more mistakes to put our country further in debt, and make us more disliked by those in other countries.

Please buy a clue! If The shrub wins, then this country is in BIG Trouble! The shrub and his merry gang of liars are already making noises about starting a war on Iran. Haliburton and others will continue to make more money and the middle class will continue to get screwed by this administration. Frankly, I will be in Washington, DC protesting this fool and his merry gang of liars! Do these folks even know how to tell to truth? Can we please impeach this fool?
