I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

<<"Kerry is a Democrat, the party of the people, all the people. Bush is a Republican, the party of the rich and arrogant who hate those unlike themselves but espouse religious faith in a god who loves everyone. ">>

And you are not biased at all.....you inform someone with accurate info on both parties....LOL!!

I'm not exactly sure what your responding to. I never said that decreasing personal income taxes reduced jobs. I get emails from both the rep and dem committees so I can find out where both sides stand on the issues. According to an email sent to me by the republican committee on behalf of bush, tax cuts for businesses were supposed to help create jobs. This was his big economic plan. However, he also rewards companies with tax breaks for job outsourcing. The labor is cheaper, so corporations get to keep more of the profits which fatten up their wallets. Maybe this is where you got confused, I'm not sure.

John Kerry wants to take away these tax breaks from corporations for job outsourcing, then maybe we can keep more jobs here where they belong.

Bush's economic plan has really failed all of us, that is why the new jobs being created are low paying, while the high paying jobs are being outsourced. According to one website I went to, the employees in one county are being paid less than 25% of what american workers were making. This only benefits these companies, not america.

Trust you had pleasant dreams of ocean breezes and balmy skies, and am sure the angels in the heavens rejoiced upon your awakening to a new day. As for having given up dreams of somethings I wish would have been, can relate, but have let those dreams go only to find new ones have come to take their place.

Actually, found Donna's post very accurate....after all, compared to the parade of moderates that the Republicans have trotted across the stage this week wrapped in the red, white and blue, reality and the Repulican Platform pretty well tell the story that Bush and his minions are anything but open minded and accepting of others, and have not basis on which to claim theirs is a big tent.
