What will you do if Bush wins?

I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

I'll be partying when Bush wins. I partied when Gore lost and I thank God every day that the Deceit and Rape of America in the 90's is over.

Did anyone realize that Clinton hired an ANDERSEN executive to run the General Accounting Office that tells us how well the economy was doing? Nah, we were too busy defending Clinton's treason and perjury from the "evil" Republicans to care about things like that. Clinton had his chance to prevent 9/11 and the Associated Press just wants us to hate Bush.

Deserter Kerry can't win an election on hate, no matter how much the "mythical" liberal media wants him to win.

***And by the way, no I do not consider the fetuses aborted to be "children" or "babies." They don't earn that label until they are independent of their mother's body.

Ya know, I tried my best to find the pictures of dead babies in pieces in a trash can on this site but cannot remember where it was. You might just change your mind about them not being babies if you had a good look at them. And seriously, I almost threw up when I read your statement on that. And second of all, even if a baby is born it is still dependent on someone, the mother or not. Being pregnant doesn't make you a mother, you are just a host and have no right to take someone's life, born or unborn. You must not have children, Donita.

Also, I wanted to answer the question someone asked of rape. Adoption is a wonderful option for unwanted pregnancies. Like I said, you are just host and still have no right to kill. I was raped when I was 19.

<<I'm not exactly sure what your responding to. I never said that decreasing personal income taxes reduced jobs.>>

Sounds like that's exactly what you said, "Because of Bush's tax cuts, many people lost jobs and many pograms were cut that benefitted alot of people." http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-elpoliticsto&msg=3704.151

<>

Now that is completely opposite of what you said to begin with. Also, businesses didn't get tax cuts, iIndividuals did, which according to most standard economic models does create jobs.

<>

Again I ask you, what tax breaks he created that rewards outsourcing. The fact is, Bush didn't change corporate tax policy.

<>

Outsourcing is nothing new and nothing evil. US corporations are already burdered with one of the highest tax rates in the industrialized world. Kerry's proposal would wreak havoc with our economy. It is also protectionist and would cause our trade partners to throw up

But Steph, for the sake of arguement, and using the Pro-Life natural order of progression, I disagree here....I do think that birth begins with the release of the fertile egg, said action being the true beginning of the path of birth as God so intended and meant it to be.....anything you would do to interfere with that fertile eggs ability to be inseminated is the taking of life itself in the eyes of God...I know this to be true, as Jesus told me so one time while I was doing bong hits with him out behind the bar while down in Mexico. Hmmmm....maybe that is how Bush is able to talk directly to God before declaring War on Iraq, its all that cocaine he snorted up his nose!

Donna:

Very well stated. How any one could think it fair and just, and mandatory in God's eyes that a young girl raped by a relative (or for that matter any woman who has been raped) should have to bear the burden of carrying a baby through to birth under those circumstances is beyond me. Yet, it seems that the pro-life position is...oh well, bad things happen to good people, but you are murdering an innocent baby if you get an abortion, and that is murder which is a far greater crime than rape. Last time I looked, this amounts to further victimizing the victim.

I could easily dig up some HORRID pictures of Abortion Clinics that were blown up by people that hold very similiar views to the ones you constantly are expressing on these boards. I could did up some HORRID pictures of body parts removed in surgeries that would turn your stomach too. Since a big issue in this campaign is the war, sure any of us could find some pretty sickening pictures on that subject matter as well....yet, the reality of it is, it amounts to nothing more than a SHOCK and FEAR campaign. Just like we are not going to outlaw surgeries, just like we are not going to outlaw war, we are not going to outlaw abortion because you convenietly found an internet link to a few gruesome photographs whose only purpose is to shock people. It's an old tactic that does not work.

As the Republicans have said in regards to Gore not being in the Whitehouse, you lose, get over it, ABORTIONS ARE LEGAL, and THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.

As I stated in the original post, caught the survey on the news last night...can not say for certain that said poll is on the CNN website, so would suggest you take a look and see. Always amazes me how many people on this board want everyone else to do their work for them when they themselves should be perfectly capable of finding something on their own.

I am rolling on the floor laughing!!!!!!!!! So you are saying that every month when a woman gets her mensus, we are having an abortion?????????!!!!!!!!!! So you are saying that every month if we don't try to fertilize an egg we are killing a human life. You can't be serious. This is a question now, don't forget to answer it, how many chormosomes does and egg have, how many does a sperm have and how many does a human have (in most cases)??????????

Still, laughing my head off!!!!!!!!!!
