What will you do if Bush wins?

I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

***oh well, bad things happen to good people, but you are murdering an innocent baby if you get an abortion, and that is murder which is a far greater crime than rape.

Yes, two wrongs don't make a right.

There you go off the topic again. I am not talking about surgeries and gross pics, I am talking about a baby being a baby. Whether the baby is unborn, aborted or birthed, it is exactly the same dead or alive.

<<"Always amazes me how many people on this board want everyone else to do their work for them when they themselves should be perfectly capable of finding something on their own.">>.....ok I'll bite. I asked you for links to what you were stating. You told me go look in CNN.com. I tried by using your statements and reported back to you that I couln't find what YOU were stating.

So basically I am to just believe you on your word, while there's nothing to back up what you are saying??? LOL!! Somehow I have difficulty doing that!! It's a clever (yet very transparent)

Went to CNN myself, and could not find it either, so decided to check over on FOX in case I had mistaken which channel was on at the time I caught the report. Did not want you thinking I make this stuff up.

Takes a bit to load and make its way through the promos, but you can hear the poll yourself with this link.

I agree. Even though I'd rather have a woman give up her baby to adoption if she doesn't want the baby it's just the matter of having the choice. It's not anybody's place to tell a woman she can or can't do this or that to me. That's why I'm not for Bush's "no abortion" law. He's just taking away the choice of it being there. I watched the video on Kerry's site about him doing a speech at a women's rally and he was talking about that too, just having the choice there and having your medical records be kept private and stuff. Even if abortion one day is against the law people will still try to have abortions and I'd rather there be clinics and professional people to do everything instead of someone doing the abortion illegally and possibly going to jail. XOXO.

Hey now, I happen to like George Carlin. He is actually pretty intelligent, better than watching, oh, Benny Hill re-runs, but some people like some intellect with their humor, and Carlin has bought about a lot of awareness on the issues he speaks of, he ALWAYS encourages people to learn about the issues, to READ. ALWAYS! and because of him... a lot of people have found that politics are not all that boring after all, and taken the time to learn a thing or two, so just because you disagree wiht him, no need to put him down, and why bother trying to make others look bad for sounding like him?

IMO people who can't use sarcasm, intellectual wit and humor effectively look like clods, and are jealous of those of us who can.
