I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

I have no idea if this is the poll reported on CNN - I typed "New York Bush poll" into Google and came up with several results. It looks like the majority of New York voters are definitely not Bush fans

I've been reading a lot lately about both guys to see what both are saying and everything and I read somewhere that Bush didn't really even do war and didn't show up for his training and stuff. Does anybody know about that or anything on Bush's fighting in war history? I know from reading about Kerry that he volunteered for Vietnam and everything and now people are talking about his whole purple star stuff. Why hasn't there been any talk of Bush going to war or anything like that? Or does anybody know of a site? I'm just curious to see who would know more about war and the best to do things. I've talked to some people who think Bush was just jumping into everything and didn't look before that first step. Also, does Bush's people have a website like Kerry's? XOXO.

Or worse, harken back to the old days where young women died in back alley ways from botched abortions, or did serious harm to themselves trying to use coat hangers. Also, just do not see how ANY ONE who claims to be a compassionate caring person, can ask a rape victim to futher their pain and postpone their own healing by demanding that they carry the seed concieved in rape for some nine months.

Bush NEVER and I do mean NEVER fought in a WAR. What time he did serve in the military was as a member of the Air National Guard, and said service is surrounded by clouds of suspicion, including charges of his being AWOL that are to a degree backed up by his early discharge even during a time of war. Bush during his day is known to have been convicted on two charges of DUI, an admitted abuser of both alcohol and cocaine, and was a very poor student during his time at Yale, and has the LOWEST IQ of any modern day president according to a study released by Harvard. Anything else you would like to know?

I do see your point about that and I was talking last night with a friend of mine about everything and she made the point that the House probably gets more threats than Britney Spears does fan mail. Heh. Does anybody know how they did with security on the day and was there a specific date mentioned in any threats? I remember my high school one day was threatned with a bomb threat (it was just that) but the principle had everybody leave and we waited 3-4 hrs outside in the freezing cold at the football stadium away from the school. After the police came and checked everything out we went back in just in time to get ready to go home. There was also one threat in the senior hallway someone made about saying how everybody will die a certain day and nobody knew about it but I had a friend who had an older brother who was a senior and she knew about the threat from them, so I guess they didn't tell so people wouldn't get paniced and everything. The threat was a Child's Play Chucky doll with blood and a knife in the middle around it's heart area (like on a human) and had the note attached. That was quite scary to know happened. XOXO.

If you want to spew rhetoric that no one takes seriously, keep on. If you want to have a legitimate discussion, it is incumbent on you to back up your statements with facts and to provide links to information you would like us to consider. Whether or not the survey you are talking about is on the CNN website, I'm sure you will be able to provide a link to the orignial survey or to a legitmate news source that refers to it.

Speaking of being open-minded and the republican party with Bush my dad last night was watching the convention thing and I came down here to do some computer stuff (our computer is in the family room)so I heard some of what they were talking about and Bush's daughters were there speaking and one of them said that their dad has taught them how to be more open-minded. If they were so open-minded why is he caring about what gay's do? Why doesn't he just let them be and worry more about economics, the whole Iraq situation, etc? XOXO.
