I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

Yeah we have friends that just went through the last Hurricane and they are thinking of heading up the coast. I really hope they get out of the area this time.

I just don't get it....right in the Republican Party Platform it clearly states that they oppose gay marriage, oppose abortion....YET....in the first three nights of the Campaign, almost every single speaker heard from during prime time supports some kind of gay rights, and supports a womans right to freedom of choice. Wonder who is lying to who here?

In all seriousness ... which rights of yours "as a woman" do you believe Bush has taken away? I am a woman as well, and I can't think of any rights of mine that he has taken away.

Just wondering ....

"Did our former Democratic President Bill Clinton fight in a war?"

LOL. And here's something else I thought of about 200 posts ago (and I'm not going back to find the relevant posts) .... for those who made fun of Bush's admittedly lame photo-op gaffes (e.g., holding the book upside down), I'd like to know what those folks thought of Al Gore's lovely Vietnam PR photo op, in which he was supposedly loading his rifle while the barrel was pointed straight at his face.

:-)

I was watching the video clip of the Fox news thing with the poll someone posted about earlier and I thought it was sad how at a hotel they had to take away the ketchup cause of Mrs. Heinz Kerry to not cause trouble with the reps and dem's. I thought that was kinda sad how people can't be mature about everything. Why couldn't people just be mature about it? Everybody is so against each other. If you're not for this person and for the other person then you can get hated on and blah blah. It's just sad. I hope things aren't this bad after the election is over with whoever wins. :\ XOXO.

Mainly abortion and the whole gay thing. I'm not gay but what if I was a gay woman and wanted to marry my love intrest? Just because he doesn't believe in it doesn't mean it shouldn't be there. Just like with abortion. XOXO.

Good to hear you will not be voting for Bush. However if you vote for anyone other than Kerry you may as well vote for Bush. If you do not want Bush to be President again the only way to prevent it is to vote for Kerry and have your vote count. Really count.
