I would like to know what you all will do if Bush wins? I don't know if I can handle another 4 years. Any ideas of how to reclaim our country and restore democracy and freedom? I'm worried that another 4 years will increase the authoritariansm and absolute power that Bush has come to claim and further trample on our constitution and individual liberties. I'm truly frightened.

Yeah, tell me about it :) I live in MA and the past few summers have been awful. Nothing like I remember as a kid. It seems like we're going through global cooling, not global warming.

I had the same concerns back when Reagan was campaigning for his second term.

We all survived 8 years of a Republican administration back then, and I'm sure we will again, if it comes to that.

Good response to this comment. I'd like to add our democracy is more at risk from low voter turnout and apathy than anything a Republican administration can dish out.

I was always under the impression that spirituality consists of a personal relationship between an individual and god, not a three way between them, god and the government? Why do you need the US government to lend credibility to your religious beliefs? Is your faith that weak?

Finally, I'll be thrilled myself when an athiest is in the white house!

What is wrong with a private, for profit business making a profit?

I'd like to know about this "freedom from never being fired from your job" too. Is this in the constitution or bill of rights, and if so, where?

That's quite a judgement. The only person with the right or ability to make it, isn't posting on this board. ( Although I think I did spot him over on the Southbeach Diet board. ;-)

If President Bush wins again? We will have four more years of FOCUSED leadership. Four more years of values. Four more years of a President that means what he says and says what he means. Four more years of moderate social programs. Four more years of the economy growing the fastest rate it has in the last 20 years! Four more years of fighting the terrisom that we have ignored for the last 15 years. If President wins again we ALL will be just fine!
