Was with a bit of amusement that I saw the Republicans in here has a thread that we are supposed to stay out of (see Republican Treehouse)....guess they feel a need to have secret meetings, and might even have a secret handshake to get through the door, so thought those of us on the side of reason and intellect should have our own little hide-away as it were. So, kick your shoes off, pour yourself a drink and lets discuss the issues.

Don't worry about it...just ignore them. Up until you posted that article I thought I was pretty much alone in thinking this.
I'm new here. I'm 22 from Tennessee and a college music major. I've been reading everything I can on the two candidates and so far definietly am a Kerry supporter. Just saying hello! XOXO.

First of all, I heard no whining but a very important point. If Kerry doesn't get his act together soon he will lose to George Bush. It's as simple as that. One critisism we have is that Bush supporters are blind to his shortcomings. Let's not make the same mistake and overlook Kerry's. American's must STOP this tendency they have of trying to turn people into heros and not acknowleging that EVERYONE has shortcomings. It is how one admits to them and rises above them that makes a person admirable
I think discussing what Kerry must do to overcome this nasty but extremely well funded Republican machine is totally relevant at this point in time.

One thing I have learned from being here is this: Don't take what someone says to personally. It is a computer conversation and not a physical friendship. I have seen people come and go from here, most of them just say things to get people all riled up. hahaha in fact there are times I myself have said something to get people's blood boiling.
But the most truthful thing I can say is that Bush has to go, not in 4 more years, but THIS year!!! It is also great to see the younger people becoming more involved.
