Was with a bit of amusement that I saw the Republicans in here has a thread that we are supposed to stay out of (see Republican Treehouse)....guess they feel a need to have secret meetings, and might even have a secret handshake to get through the door, so thought those of us on the side of reason and intellect should have our own little hide-away as it were. So, kick your shoes off, pour yourself a drink and lets discuss the issues.

I love reading books and I also like to read a book and then watch the movie. But I am usually dissapointed when they change too many things in the movie. I really hate it when they change the ending.

I think he is very intelligent, but I wouldn't know about the extent to his knowledge about what is happening currently in the white house. This administration is very sneaky. I read somewhere the Senate excerised their full power to get all information from white house during Clinton years, but Senate has given a free ride to Bush.

I agree but I wouldn't worry too much, People of America wouldn't let that happen. Sooner or later they will realize that this faith stuff is just to distract people from real issues like economy and healthcare. But I understand that if Bush wins, we will go thru 4 more years of hell. But we will survive.

Are you mysticdreamer? I don't think you were attacking anyone in the post you mentioned. But I see one post deleted from this thread. Was it yours? I think it is not fair to you that they would not let you post. I have seen worst posts.

I also find that interesting. Maybe things were different with war back then compared to now. I would love to sit and talk about a young military guy involved with the now war and see what they have to say about everything and their opinions on Bush and Kerry. XOXO.

I agree. I read "A Walk to Remember" and read it in two days straight and loved it. The movie was pretty good and enjoyed it but I liked some things the book had that the movie didn't. Just certain parts changed. I haven't been able to read "Queen of the Damned" yet (I do have the book though) but I've seen the movie a few times and loved it. RIP Aaliyah. She was great in the movie!! XOXO.
